• Lead cross-functional teams in support of client needs for all Synchrony clients • Monitor and manage assigned activities to ensure timely delivery of products and services • Foster and develop collaboration between internal teams and external vendors and partners to ensure innovative and collaborative solutions to client needs • Ensure team compliance with client contracts, timelines, and budgets • Oversee assigned program financial management and reporting • Work with other team members to ensure that Synchrony is meeting its goals, objectives, and corporate values • Support the development, presentation, and selling of high-quality deliverables • Accurately assess and relay client requests, comments, and concerns to the internal team • Ensure alignment of brand strategy to tactical execution • Actively participate in client presentations, selling the agency's point of view • Represent the organization in an appropriate manner • Attend client meetings, congresses, and communicate key learnings to team and client • Be a positive force for enhancing the work culture, consensus-building, and internal communications • Facilitate communication between team members and clients to maintain strong relationships and effective account management • Resolve conflict and celebrate success; set clear team priorities and help define success in terms of the whole team • Explain client/brand objectives and strategies to the internal team, partners, and vendors • Keep management apprised of: Critical internal Synchrony issues, concerns, and opportunities; Critical client concerns and opportunities; Brand accomplishments and tactics • Monitor industry and therapeutic area and best practices and advances to ensure that Synchrony and our clients are at the cutting edge or leading the field
• Provide leadership support for Project Managers in the development of educational and promotional materials/activities • Perform all Project Manager duties for assigned accounts and provide oversight/support in these areas for department personnel • Develop and execute project timelines, budgets, and billing checklists • Drive weekly internal and client status, new project kick-off, and post-project meetings • Communicate with assigned clients regarding project status when applicable • Fulfill lead role in resource allocation, scheduling, and prioritization based on business unit objectives defined by Account Services • Assess workflow and resources in the department to efficiently allocate responsibilities • Maintain high-level knowledge of the project status, billing status, and timelines to support execution for all projects across product teams • Review pre-/post-project documentation, and approve when appropriate • Assume/allocate/arrange coverage for temporary responsibilities for out-of-office team members • Assist Project Managers in problem-solving and prioritization to ensure timely execution of deliverables • Assist Project Managers with coordination of vendor/freelance selection • Review proposals and statements of work (SOWs) with Account Managers to ensure accuracy regarding department resources, allocated hours, and timelines • Assess and continually monitor projects for maintenance of budget and scope as detailed in SOW; recommend change of scope or modification of internal process as needed • Assist the Account Services team in the fulfillment and delivery of RFI/RFP (new-business) opportunities • Assess, improve, and ensure adherence to processes, procedures, and systems to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department • Train direct reports and other department staff, as required, on the use of department procedures and systems/software • Ensure that all quality control measures (eg, editorial review, graphics review) are completed as designated in the department procedures • Review detail reports with Project Managers to identify incorrectly recorded project hours, potential performance issues, and potentially out-of-specification/scope project hours • Analyze potential out-of-specification/scope hours and make corrective recommendations to the team • Serve as the primary Project Management team contact with Finance department • Ensure that submission of all reconciliations and invoices is timely and are occurring at appropriate project milestones
• ensuring the overall editorial quality of medical communications content • providing medical editing for accuracy, clarity, consistency, grammar, and style • fact-checking content, proofreading and editing copy • ensuring adherence to client and project requirements, AMA Manual of Style, client corporate and brand style guides, and agency standards • responsible for Veeva Vault submissions and reference library upkeep, as well as permissions requests • collaborating with members of Editorial Services, Medical Services, and Creative Services teams to ensure deliverables meet high standards
• Plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to strict deadlines and within budget • Leads the effort to define and communicate project timelines, resources, and budget • Oversees quality control throughout the project’s lifecycle • Communicates project knowledge and updates to team members • Identifies potential risks and implements problem-solving tactics to maintain timelines and budgets
• Partner with internal teams to turn complex data into engaging and meaningful copy for a variety of audiences • Develop original content for deliverables across digital and print media (e.g., product brochures, emails, social media) • Establish and maintain close partnerships with Creative personnel leads to help establish the creative vision • Engage with clients to understand their brand(s), key messages, and creative vision; explore and develop innovative ideas • Demonstrate a firm understanding of the therapeutic areas, target audiences, and strategy for various products • Ensure high quality and degree of accuracy with thorough referencing and annotation of all materials • Incorporate internal and client feedback, comments, and changes to manuscripts and layouts while maintaining the integrity and purpose of the material • Work with Editorial and Medical content leads to facilitate and ensure maintenance of up-to-date style guides and core claims documents • Present work and provide rationale in internal and client content and creative reviews or meetings • Manage resourcing and workflow for copy development; work closely with Project Management and Account Services to actively manage resourcing needs

• Serve as the lead strategic partner on assigned client accounts, guiding positioning, messaging, and brand expression • Lead the development of brand strategy across the product lifecycle, from early positioning through launch and ongoing management • Partner closely with Account, Creative, and Medical teams to ensure strategic alignment and excellence in execution • Translate scientific and market insights into clear, motivating and actionable brand platforms and campaign strategies • Collaborate on and shape briefs that enable strong, effective creative work • Craft differentiated brand narratives that align with client objectives and resonate with target audiences, including HCPs, patients, and consumers • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients across product launches, brand evolutions, and market-shaping initiatives • Drive insight generation through market research, translating findings into actionable strategies across messages, channels and deliverables • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to establish pre-kickoff project plans and strategic guardrails • Develop and apply brand planning tools and approaches, including positioning workshops, journey mapping, segmentation, insights mining, and competitive assessments • Contribute to business development efforts, including pitches and proposals, as needed • Proactively identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation • Foster strong client partnerships to mitigate issues and identify new business opportunities • Mentor and grow strategic talent as the function expands • Establish and evolve best practices, frameworks, and processes for brand planning • Represent the agency with professionalism and sound judgment • Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative work culture
