• Identify and develop relationships with middle-market and large-market businesses seeking guidance and support with their employee benefits programs. • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing consultative recommendations related to employee benefits, human resources challenges, and risk management solutions. • Develop customized employee benefits strategies by leveraging carrier relationships, agency resources, and available products and services. • Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and community involvement activities. • Build, manage, and grow a profitable book of employee benefits business while maintaining a strong focus on client retention. • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and educational sessions to help business owners and employees better understand available benefits solutions. • Manage renewal strategies and provide high-level ongoing service to ensure strong client relationships and long-term account growth. • Collaborate with internal Account Management and Service teams to deliver a seamless client experience and ensure service expectations are met. • Work closely with other sales teams throughout the organization to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities. • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, carrier products, and emerging employee benefits solutions. • Maintain accurate prospect and client records within agency systems and sales tools. • Represent the agency professionally within the business community and cultivate relationships with key referral partners and industry stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits sales, insurance sales, business development, or a related field preferred; strong candidates with transferable sales experience will be considered.
- Active Life & Health insurance license required.
- Experience working with employee benefits products, group health plans, and employer-sponsored benefit programs preferred.
- Experience with BenefitPoint or similar agency management systems preferred.
- Strong business development, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal team members.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional client service.

Role Description An Executive Producer who brings the company's programs and events to life, from concept through production and final delivery to the client. Client and project leadership are central to this role, which drives both the work and the process forward. - This role works collaboratively with Creative and Accounts leads to set the tone for each program, achieve team objectives and financial targets, and elevate the standard of work across MAS. - On a project-by-project basis, this role will manage freelance and full-time Producers and Coordinators, and oversee and mentor junior team members assigned to the team. Qualifications - 8+ years producing events, with hands-on experience overseeing and producing core event logistics: catering, meeting space, housing, AV production, fabrication, and more. - Experience leading and mentoring producers and coordinators on projects. - A strong creative instinct and the ability to develop concepts and push ideas forward. - 8+ years of client-facing experience, with the ability to advise, consult, manage budgets, and resolve conflict while protecting the client relationship. - Comfort presenting and pitching, both to clients and in new business settings. - Fluency in event industry norms across venue contracting, production, and vendor management. - Budget management experience with direct financial responsibility, ownership, and accountability to others, at or above $3 million+. - Expert judgment and the ability to make sound decisions in gray areas. - The ability to run multiple projects at once without sacrificing accuracy or quality. - Strong communication across every level: employees, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders. - Strong tech skills, especially Google Workspace and Slack.
