Role Description The IoT Edge Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of edge software components that enable secure, reliable, and scalable integration between field-deployed dosimeter devices, gateways, and cloud environment. This role is central to the modernization of client's radiation exposure management, focusing on the implementation and optimization of AWS Greengrass-based IoT gateway solutions, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device communication, and secure data transmission protocols. - Develop and maintain software modules that run on Linux-based gateway hardware, supporting features such as device authentication, data encryption, remote updates, and automated diagnostics. - Ensure that all edge software is auditable, maintainable, and aligned with the mission-critical needs of operational communities, supporting both connected and disconnected operational scenarios. - Deliver a robust, secure, and resilient edge computing infrastructure that enables client to provide accurate, timely, and actionable radiation exposure data across enterprise.
