Role Description The Acquisitions team is hiring a Director of Underwriting to lead and mentor a team, ensuring workload balance and expertise in serving proprietary investors and major markets. This role will oversee the underwriting process, manage performance expectations, and step in for deal management as needed. Candidates should have a relevant degree, extensive real estate finance experience, strong financial analysis skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure while demonstrating professionalism and effective communication. - Lead and manage a team of underwriters and associates. - Coach, mentor, and train both new and established underwriters. - Schedule workloads and assign deals to underwriters to balance effort throughout the year. - Maintain expertise in serving proprietary investors and major markets. - Serve as the primary interface for the underwriting process with one or more proprietary investors. - Ensure that underwriters meet performance expectations. - Step in to manage deals and closings for underwriters on leave. - Independently underwrite one or more investments per year if necessary. - Plan and lead group meetings and discussions to build a highly effective and motivated team. - Develop retreats with meaningful training sessions and collaboration with other departments/consultants. - Jointly lead efforts to improve underwriting effectiveness. - Participate in ongoing process improvement working groups. - Manage ad-hoc groups to address specific problems and solutions. - Work with credit, LIHTC structuring services, investor relations, and others to organize training programs. - Schedule regular training sessions throughout the year. - Lead training sessions or portions of them as appropriate. - Collaborate with internal partners to curate and organize training resources. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. - 8+ years’ experience in real estate finance, affordable housing and/or LIHTC program. - Extensive knowledge of LIHTC and strong financial analysis skills required. - Experience in closing real estate transactions highly preferred. - Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under significant time pressure. - Extensive Excel modeling skills required; proficient knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint a plus. - Strong writing/editing skills needed to produce correspondence and reports. - Prior management and/or team leadership experience preferred. - Demonstrated verbal communication and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrates professionalism, diplomacy, and composure. - Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex activities. - Must be highly motivated, able to work independently, and possess strong written and oral communication skills. - Ability to maintain big picture focus while attending to detailed work. - Demonstrated ability to work productively and accurately in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods. Role Description The Associate Director, HEOR Japan will provide execution and scientific leadership across health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence (RWE) to optimize the value demonstration of Revolution Medicines oncology portfolio across JPAC markets. They will work in concert with Global HEOR and other regional teams to deliver an Integrated Evidence Plan for each asset and disease area. The role will align HEOR evidence generation with market access, pricing & reimbursement, patient access strategies, and cross-functional planning. The Associate Director, HEOR Japan will report to the Executive Medical Director, Japan and a dotted line into the Global HEOR group. Key Responsibilities - Strategic Leadership: Define, drive and deliver upon a HEOR strategy within Japan in support of product lifecycle planning, value evidence generation, pricing/reimbursement, and access engagements. They will be accountable for delivering value demonstration. - Integrated Evidence Planning: Participate within the Revolution Medicines IEP process and ensure the comprehensive plan achieves all needs for Japan. - Evidence Generation & Analysis: Lead or participate in the development of health economic models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact), real-world evidence, burden-of-disease assessments, and outcomes research programs that support regulatory filings, HTA submissions, and reimbursement discussions. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, and Clinical Development teams to ensure HEOR insights inform decision making across the product lifecycle. - External Engagement: Represent Revolution Medicines in scientific, payer, and HTA forums; engage external stakeholders including key opinion leaders, academic collaborators, HTA bodies, and reimbursement authorities. - Team & Vendor Leadership: Help to lead initiatives both within RevMed and to manage external collaborators (consultants, vendors) to support various HEOR projects within budget and timelines. - Communication: Communicate HEOR strategy, research outcomes, and value propositions to internal leadership (including European and global functions) and external audiences.
