Role Description We are looking for someone to join the engineering team as the first engineering manager for a group of highly skilled engineers working across our product teams. Key Responsibilities - Managing and developing the engineers, helping them to grow their skills and advance in their careers. - Conducting regular catch-ups, running 360 performance reviews, and having development conversations with your reports (tailored to each engineer). - Helping engineers set personal development objectives and supporting them in their growth. - Providing updates and highlighting any performance issues to the VP of Engineering. - Getting involved with hiring and providing a great onboarding experience. - Being accountable for the growth of individuals in your team. - Ensuring the well-being of the team. This role is based in Bangalore with a hybrid work model, reporting to the Director, Software Engineering.
