Solutions Architect – Pre-Sales

• Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, helping define data, analytics, cloud, and AI strategies that align with business objectives. • Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution design engagements with client stakeholders ranging from engineering teams to executive leadership. • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing data and AI solutions leveraging Snowflake, cloud platforms, and modern data technologies. • Partner closely with sales teams to support business development efforts, including client presentations, solution proposals, technical demonstrations, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept engagements. • Collaborate with BlueCloud's advisory, sales, and delivery teams to ensure solution designs are practical, scalable, and aligned with customer requirements. • Design enterprise data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, data pipelines, governance frameworks, and AI/ML environments. • Help customers evaluate and adopt Snowflake capabilities, including Cortex, AI applications, data sharing, governance, and advanced analytics solutions. • Guide cloud modernization and migration initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. • Develop reusable reference architectures, accelerators, best practices, and solution playbooks that improve delivery consistency and speed. • Provide architectural oversight throughout project delivery, ensuring solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and compliance requirements. • Mentor engineers, consultants, and junior architects while promoting architectural excellence and knowledge sharing across the organization. • Stay current on emerging trends across AI, data platforms, cloud technologies, and industry-specific innovation, bringing new ideas and perspectives to customers and internal teams. • Represent BlueCloud at customer events, partner meetings, industry conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in alliances, partnerships, channel management, business development, or strategic sales roles within cloud, data, analytics, or technology services environments.
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, data architecture, data engineering, cloud consulting, or related technical leadership roles.
- Deep expertise designing and implementing enterprise data solutions, preferably within the Snowflake ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, governance, and analytics platforms.
- Experience architecting solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, generative AI, and modern data-driven application architectures.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as Snowflake, SQL, Python, dbt, Spark, cloud-native data services, and related tools.
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing consulting or pre-sales environments, including solution scoping, executive presentations, and technical proposal development.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging executives and senior technical leaders.
- Understanding of data governance, security, privacy, compliance, and enterprise architecture best practices.
- A consultative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for helping customers achieve measurable business results.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degrees and relevant cloud or Snowflake certifications are a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 30-40% for customer meetings, workshops, conferences, and industry events.
