Role Description Critically evaluate relevant literature to update the clinical area on industry standards and contribute to the direction of the company’s clinical products and services. Provides training and education on clinical concepts. - Provide clinical expertise to internal and external customers. - Critically evaluate the literature to develop, maintain, and update the clinical criteria. - Active participation in cross-functional committees (e.g., Therapeutic Assessment Committee). - Contribute to the strategic direction for ESI’s core standard clinical products and services criteria development and/or targeting. - Complete complex clinical projects under supervised situations. - Provide clinical internal and external presentations in support of ESI’s standard products or on complex clinical concepts (e.g., OCEP Clinical Updates, ExpressAlliance Nurse Case Managers presentations, CPM training). Qualifications - Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (highly preferred) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. - Advanced clinical experience/training/certifications also preferred. - Completion of clinical residency or at least 2 years clinical pharmacy experience. - Current US Pharmacist Licensure. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. - Strong commitment to clinical services and company goals. - Ability to work with cross-functional committees or workgroups. - Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritization. - Able to function under stressful situations. - Clinical expertise and understanding of clinical arena/issues across all points of pharmaceutical care. Role Description The Global Site Start-up (SSU) Lead is accountable for the global execution of site activation for assigned clinical trials, performing responsibilities with moderate oversight. The Global SSU Lead is accountable for ensuring site start-up is efficient, timely and in accordance with the sponsor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ICH/GCP. This role applies to internally sourced studies and studies outsourced to Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and the balance of direct leadership versus oversight will vary accordingly.
