We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Configuration Manager to join our UniQue team. - Accountable for Service Configuration Management and the CMDB. - Defining, executing, monitoring, and continuously improving the Service Configuration Management practice. - Establishing, tracking, and reporting on Service Configuration Management and CMDB KPIs. - Ensuring that the CMDB contains accurate and up-to-date information. - Ensuring that service trees are maintained and kept up to date. - Ensuring that Service Configuration Management processes and the CMDB are accurately reflected in the ITSM solution. - Preparing and maintaining policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support the Service Configuration Management practice. - Contributing to the implementation and improvement of other ITIL practices. - Creating and maintaining a positive customer experience. - Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years in a similar role or relevant project experience. - Strong practical knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), particularly Service Configuration Management. - Proven experience in defining, implementing, documenting, and improving Service Configuration Management practices. - Hands-on experience in implementing, managing, and governing a CMDB, including CI lifecycle management. - Proven ownership of CMDB data quality, governance, and continuous improvement. - Experience integrating CMDB with Change Enablement and other ITSM processes. - Practical knowledge of data source management, automated discovery, and CMDB integrations. - Experience creating, maintaining, and mapping services, service trees, and dependencies. - Strong understanding of IT service lifecycle management, complex information systems, and their interoperability. - Proven experience with CMDB reporting, auditing, and ServiceNow Configuration Management/CMDB. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong reporting and organizational abilities. This role will report to the Director, Corporate Tax Operations. A successful candidate must be a collaborative team player who is entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. In addition, the candidate will need to collaborate with multiple tax colleagues regularly, including reviews of each other’s work papers and other tax computations.
