• Implement, manage, and monitor Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring availability, security, and cost optimization. • Manage cloud resources, including Virtual Machines, Web Apps, AKS, Container Apps, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, and related services. • Define and enforce governance and compliance policies, access control (IAM), tagging, and FinOps best practices. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and ARM Templates. • Administer and evolve Kubernetes (AKS) environments, including deployments, Ingress Controllers, horizontal pod autoscaling (HPA), and workload management. • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines aligned with DevOps practices. • Perform advanced cloud infrastructure troubleshooting and support, collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Monitor environments using Azure Monitor and related tools, producing performance and availability metrics. • Work in hybrid environments, integrating operations across Linux and Windows platforms. • Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Job Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
- AZ-900 and AZ-104 certification, or equivalent proven experience.
- Advanced knowledge of: Azure Monitor, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Backup, Load Balancers, and Storage Services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform and ARM Templates.
- Experience administering Kubernetes in production environments.
- Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with automation, observability, and DevOps practices.

Role Description Optiv is hiring an IT Cloud Engineer. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware technologies (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, vSAN) and the ability to integrate those environments with modern cloud services. This position plays a key role in building scalable, secure, and cost-effective hybrid solutions while improving automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
