Cloud Engineer – AWS

• Implement and support AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services. • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions utilizing Terraform. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and related DevSecOps tools. • Support deployment, configuration, and administration of AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC. • Automate operational processes, system provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance activities. • Support platform operations, troubleshooting, incident response, and performance optimization efforts. • Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and cybersecurity specialists to implement secure and scalable solutions. • Monitor platform health, availability, and resource utilization across cloud environments. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting cloud engineering, systems engineering, or platform operations.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting AWS environments.
  • Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation tools.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Role Description Optiv is hiring an IT Cloud Engineer.
