Role Description The FP&A Manager, Strategic Business Partner will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Medical, Learning, and Medical Communications businesses, delivering clear, actionable insights to drive performance. This role focuses on improving revenue visibility, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and increasing transparency into gross profit drivers. By partnering closely with business leaders, the FP&A Manager will translate financial data into meaningful insights, support decision-making, and help optimize profitability across projects, clients, and business lines. Key Responsibilities - Strategic Business Partnership - Act as the primary finance partner to Medical, Learning, and Med Comms leadership teams - Provide proactive financial insights to support strategic planning - Challenge assumptions and influence decision-making to improve financial outcomes and operational efficiency - Translate financial results into clear narratives tailored for non-finance stakeholders - Revenue & Performance Visibility - Enhance revenue forecasting models across business lines - Identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to revenue performance and client profitability - Build scalable reporting frameworks that provide clear, real-time insights into business performance - Gross Profit Transparency & Cost Insight - Partner with revenue teams to understand cost drivers - Implement tools and processes to improve profitability tracking at the project, client, and service-line level - Highlight margin improvement opportunities and support execution of cost optimization initiatives - Planning, Forecasting & Analysis - Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes for supported functions - Deliver variance analysis highlighting key drivers vs. budget and/or forecasts - Improve planning processes through automation, standardization, and better alignment with business drivers - Support scenario modeling and what-if analysis to guide strategic decisions - Process Improvement & Data Quality - Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and data integrity - Partner with systems and data teams to enhance financial tools, dashboards, and reporting capabilities - Help establish consistent KPIs and measures across Medical, Learning, and Med Comms - Finance Cross-Functional Support - Partner with Accounting to ensure consistency in revenue recognition, cost allocation, and financial reporting, improving accuracy of forecasts and actuals - Collaborate with Pricing to evaluate deal structures, support pricing decisions, and assess margin implications across new and existing business - Align financial assumptions and inputs across FP&A, Accounting, and Pricing to drive a unified view of performance and profitability - Support month-end and quarter-end processes by reconciling financial variances and ensuring transparency between operational and financial results EPIIC Values - Excellence : We set high standards.
