Role Description This position is responsible for staffing the 7x24 command center to ensure operational availability of systems, networks, and applications. Monitors the data center environment to ensure the availability of all business applications. This full-time position is on the 3rd shift: starting Sunday from 11:00PM – 7:30AM Eastern Time Zone. Job Roles and Responsibilities - Provides operational support for the 7x24 enterprise data center. - Communicates and escalates issues as required and follows through to ensure system resolution. - Monitors, identifies, and supports the resolution of problems using a monitoring console. - Coordinates as necessary with technical staff. - Provides service desk support. - Possesses a working knowledge of SFTP file transfers. - Possesses a working knowledge of batch scheduling. - Possesses a working knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems. - Collaborates, coordinates, and communicates across disciplines and departments. - Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. - Demonstrates Company’s Competencies and Core values held within. - The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Qualifications - Minimum High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Associate's degree in computer science, business administration or related work experience desired. - Minimum 2 years of Information Technology operations experience. - Automated job scheduling desired. - Working in a multi-processing environment desired. - Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable. - Knowledge of Unix and Windows. - Communication (written, verbal and listening), planning, organizing, analytical, problem solving, time management and customer service skills. - Ability to support 7X24 on-call rotation. Requirements - The salary range for this position is $60-70k. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. - This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
