Role Description Join our team at GoDaddy as a Senior Director of Engineering to lead Internal and External Developer Platform and Experiences. This strategic leadership role is responsible for transforming how 2,000+ engineers and a larger builder community build, test, integrate, ship, and operate software in the era of AI and Agentic systems. This role will help define the future of GoDaddy’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), developer ecosystem, and platform strategy by reimagining how developers leverage AI, automation, and intelligent systems to accelerate innovation, improve reliability, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience leading large-scale engineering organizations and platform teams in high-growth or enterprise environments. - Strong technical depth in developer platforms, cloud-native systems, infrastructure, software delivery, and engineering productivity. - Demonstrated experience driving organization-wide transformation initiatives and platform modernization efforts. - Experience building or scaling developer ecosystems, internal platforms, developer tooling, or self-service capabilities. - Strong understanding of modern SDLC practices, CI/CD, platform engineering, developer experience, and reliability engineering. - Experience with AI, ML platforms, developer copilots, Agentic systems, or automation frameworks is strongly preferred. - Hands-on technical capability with a willingness to prototype, code, review architecture, and engage deeply in technical decisions.
