HR Generalist
PCS
• Support the Manager, People & Culture for employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and workplace concerns • Assist in resolving employee relations issues with objectivity, empathy, and confidentiality • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including background checks, equipment coordination, orientation, and data entry • Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding workflow • Support managers and employees with continuous feedback program ensuring performance feedback is regularly discussed and captured • Collaborate on initiatives that drive employee morale, diversity, equity, inclusion, and a positive, safe workplace culture • Primary responsibility to oversee daily benefits administration (enrollment, changes, and open enrollment support) • Primary responsibility for timecard review and management including accurate tracking for leaves, hours and compensation adjustments • Support maintenance and optimization of the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and tracking metrics are accurate • Primary responsibility for all recruiting including job posting, screening applications, scheduling interviews and job offers • Manage pre-employment screening processes • Ensure the organization remains in strict compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA) • Maintain accurate, secure, and up-to-date digital employee files • Maintain NAID & R2 compliance documentation • Other duties as requested
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in human resources with increasing responsibility
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP highly preferred
- Solid understanding of multi state HR compliance, laws and regulations
- Exceptional organization, prioritization, and project coordination abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to take constructive feedback and collaborate across departments
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet compliance deadlines, and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment
