Location: Based in San Francisco or Remote US & Canada Onsite or Remote | Full-time Compensation - Recruiter (Onsite in San Francisco) - $110K – $180K • 0.05% – 0.25% - Recruiter (Remote in the US & Canada) - $110K – $180K • 0.05% – 0.25% The Role - Our client is seeking an exceptional Recruiter to serve as a foundational member of the Operations department. This individual will play a critical role in winning the "talent war" by identifying, attracting, and closing world-class talent. Working directly with the founding team, the Recruiter will define hiring strategies and shape the recruiting processes that will scale the organization. Key Responsibilities - Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from initial sourcing and screening to offer negotiations and closing. - Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline across Engineering, Product, and GTM functions. - Founder Collaboration: Partner directly with founders to understand technical requirements and align hiring with long-term company goals. - Candidate Experience: Ensure a gold-standard candidate journey through clear communication, efficient scheduling, and process optimization. - Strategic Sourcing: Experiment with creative sourcing techniques, developer community engagement, and employer branding strategies to reach passive talent. - Systems Management: Optimize the recruiting tech stack (currently utilizing Ashby) and internal tracking mechanisms.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, with a significant focus on technical roles.
- Technical Literacy: A deep understanding of technical stacks, engineering roles, and the nuances of developer communities.
- Startup DNA: Proven experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments; the ability to execute independently is essential.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to source and close top-tier engineering talent in a competitive market.
- Communication: Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to act as a brand ambassador.
