Role Description Represent Boon Edam Inc. as a subject matter expert on Boon Edam products and how they fit into the security ecosystem. Provide SME support to enterprise organizations, key stakeholders, customer support teams along with our internal and external teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality professional services and technical solutions to Enterprise and Strategic Accounts. - Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with key technical stakeholders within our Targeted, Pending and Qualified accounts. - Collaborate with the Director of Enterprise Technical Program to communicate customer needs and product enhancement opportunities to manufacturing and commercial teams. - Partner in a team approach with Customer Support teams to develop and optimize field service and installation strategies, driving improved performance and customer experience. - Support in expanding training capabilities, with primary focus on delivering technical training for Enterprise and National Accounts, including: - Training for less experienced installation and service technicians - Training for Security Integrator technical teams - End-user training on the proper use of Boon Edam products - Travel extensively (domestic and international) to support installation & service teams for Enterprise and National Accounts, covering the United States, Canada, South and Central Americas. - Alert through issue management process and help define problems experienced in the field surrounding product quality and/or performance. - Assist RSMs in developing client standards, including part numbers, product specifications, and point-to-point integration for Boon Edam products. - Provide expert consultation to Security Integrators, General Contractors, Demolition Subcontractors, and End Users to ensure clear understanding and successful implementation of Boon Edam solutions in a safe and efficient manner. - Maintain deep product knowledge of Boon Edam systems and related Access Control Systems. - Work remotely in close coordination with the Enterprise Account Team, Technical Service Manager, Installation Manager, and Customer Support team based in Lillington, NC. - Serve as the primary technical resource for the Enterprise Account Team through phone support and on-site visits. Qualifications - Two-year degree in Electrical/Electronic Theory or a related technical field and/or a minimum of five (5) years of equivalent technical field experience. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering exceptional client service and support. - Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. passport for international travel. - Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time. - Strong electrical skills, including low-voltage electronics and high-voltage electrical theory. - Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and construction documents. - Excellent electrical circuit troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities. - Strong mechanical installation skills, including layout, assembly, and system integration. - Minimum of two (2) years of project management experience. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong telephone presence. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general PC/internet applications. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Physical ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. • Drive AI-powered gains and operational efficiencies initially focused on network engineering (NetEng), OSS, and network operations to enhance system performance and reliability. • Lead the planning and execution of complex network migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and zero outage for end-users. • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align on project goals, deliverables, and expectations. • Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity. • Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders. • Develop and manage the roadmap for future AI-driven network initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals and technological evolution. • Oversee the overall execution of the NetEng team, providing leadership and direction for ongoing and future projects. • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in network migration, program management, and the ethical integration of AI technologies.

• Partner with business and technology leaders to shape program vision, scope, success metrics, and multi-year roadmap. • Translate strategic goals into a sequenced portfolio of projects and workstreams, with clear sequencing, dependencies, and outcomes. • Make reaccommodation on program scope, sequencing, and resource allocation within agreed guardrails; negotiate trade-offs directly with senior stakeholders. • Define and track business value and outcome metrics for the program - not only on-time and on-budget delivery, but adoption, performance, and impact against business goals. • Establish benefits realization plans and partner with business leaders to measure achievement of expected outcomes following implementation. • Own program budget planning, forecasting, and accountability in partnership with Finance. • Maintain an integrated view of the program over time, anticipating future phases and dependencies. • Orchestrate multiple concurrent workstreams within the program, owning integrated plans, sequencing, and cross-workstream dependencies. • Directly run the day-to-day project management for workstreams within the program, including intake, planning, requirements gathering, risk and issue tracking, testing, deployment, and handoff to operational teams. • Oversee the integrated delivery of additional related projects through assigned project managers. • Facilitate sprint ceremonies (standups, planning, retrospectives) and partner with business analysts and technical leads to refine and prioritize backlogs. • Identify and mitigate program-level risks; proactively escalate when intervention is needed. • Maintain accurate program status, reporting, and budget tracking across all workstreams. • Lead through influence in a matrixed environment, including functionally leading and coordinating cross-functional program teams - project managers, business analysts, engineers, and external vendors. • Direct the work of external vendors and agency partners on program deliverables. • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for executive sponsors, business partners, and external vendors within the program. • Lead executive steering committees and governance forums, preparing decision materials and facilitating resolution of strategic issues. • Coordinate change management, adoption, and communications planning across affected divisions so that new platforms and ways of working land successfully. • Anticipate and surface organizational impacts of program decisions; build coalitions to address them. • Communicate program health, progress, decisions, and tradeoffs to audiences ranging from working teams to the Leadership Team. • Contribute lessons learned, templates, and standards back to the Technology PMO; help mature UUSA's program management practice. • Apply and refine UUSA's project and program governance, tools, and methodologies at the program level. • Conduct post-phase reviews to assess what worked, identify root causes when things did not, and improve future delivery.
