We’re Looking For A: Creative Video Strategist Location: Hybrid (Burbank/North Hollywood, CA) The mission of this role is to concept, script, and direct high-performing paid social video ads that drive customer acquisition and growth. This role partners closely with internal production, post-production, and marketing teams to develop, test, and optimize performance creative across paid channels. What You’ll Be Doing: - Write and direct video ads with the goal of selling products using a data-driven, test-and-learn approach. - Come up with fresh and innovative concepts/angles for ads and write scripts. - Direct actors and/or celebrity brand partners to elicit authentic and persuasive performances; Formulate and ask interview questions that elicit the most compelling soundbites. - Work with videographers to gather video assets (i.e.identify needed video cover, set-up locations and direct videographers to shoot b-roll). - Provide on-set leadership in collaboration with Production Supervisor, production team, and camera crew. - Collaborate with editors from pre-production to delivery, including providing feedback on edits, assist conceiving of graphics and on-screen text. - Analyze performance data, and use data to create incremental video optimizations that scale. - Leverage AI tools (e.g., for ideation, scripting, editing support, and performance analysis) to accelerate creative production, generate new ad concepts, and enhance testing velocity; stay current with emerging AI capabilities and incorporate them into the creative workflow.
