Sales Development Representative – Ed Tech

Branching Minds

• Achieve and exceed monthly KPIs, including qualified meetings and pipeline generation • Schedule meetings with school districts in your territory for the sales team using various outbound tactics (cold calling, emailing, social selling, etc.) • Efficiently follow-up with inbound leads and provide an outstanding first experience to Branching Minds and our product offerings • Take ownership of developing your account-based prospecting strategy: research target accounts; identify key players; and craft targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to schedule high-quality meetings with key decision makers • Collaborate with your territory team and cross-functional teams to develop sales and marketing strategies to build quality pipeline • Partner with the Sales Development Manager on crafting creative, personalized campaigns and cadences aligned with overall territory strategy • Attend territory conferences, meetings, etc (10% travel)

Role Description As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at DataVue LLC, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth by engaging prospective clients across key verticals such as personal lending, mortgage, auto finance, fintech, and related financial services. In this role, you will be responsible for: - Initiating and nurturing early-stage conversations with decision-makers. - Qualifying leads and building a robust pipeline for the sales team. - Collaborating closely with sales leadership to refine outreach strategies. - Positioning DataVue's solutions effectively in the market. Key responsibilities include: - Drive net-new pipeline through disciplined outbound prospecting and early-stage engagement across target verticals. - Execute high-volume, multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels) to generate engagement and book qualified meetings for the sales team. - Develop and iterate outreach messaging, sequences, and follow-up cadences to create relevance and start conversations with decision-makers. - Own initial prospect conversations to assess fit, interest, timing, and alignment; qualify leads before handing off to senior sales leadership. - Maintain informed, value-based conversations that connect prospect pain points to vertical-specific use cases and market challenges. - Partner with Sales leadership on outreach strategy, account prioritization, and pipeline-building plans. - Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through consistent activity, follow-up, and lead management. - Accurately track outreach activity, notes, and lead status in the CRM and report on activity/pipeline metrics as needed.
