JOB DESCRIPTION & YOUR OBJECTIVES We’re looking for a bright Assistant Buyer, Programmatic to join our One Marketplace team. This role is a great fit for someone with a naturally curious mind, is resourceful, and has a genuine desire to build a career in digital media and advertising. The Assistant Buyer, Programmatic is an essential member of our One Marketplace team who supports the setup, execution, optimization, and reporting of advertising campaigns. Working closely with our Programmatic Buyers and Supervisors, this role utilizes Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) to input campaign parameters, tracking and targeting criteria. This role is a great fit for someone who is a problem-solver and enjoys working with numbers and data. Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day as an Assistant Programmatic Buyer - - Hands-on campaign set-up and extensive QA of biddable media buys. - Daily in-platform monitoring of campaign pacing and performance against agreed-upon KPI. - Support team in delivering audience, creative and other optimizations insights at agreed-upon cadence. - Hands-on in-platform optimizations based on campaign performance and opportunities for improvement. - Participate in an in-depth training & onboarding covering biddable media fundamentals and certification in Programmatic media (i.e., The Trade Desk). - Works closely with team members to troubleshoot obstacles, quickly and proactively. - Participate in training sessions to deepen knowledge of media buying systems, analytics tools, and the media landscape. - Stay informed on media industry trends, competitive campaigns, and emerging platforms. - Comfortable working with AI tools to improve ways of working and output of deliverables. REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s Degree level education or equivalent in advertising, marketing or digital media. Relevant work experience and/or internships are a plus. - Strong analytical skills both the ability to interpret campaign performance (within and beyond KPIs of biddable platforms). - Enjoy and understand working with data, numbers (especially via Microsoft Excel). - Savvy in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. - Familiarity with AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude. - Eagerness to learn and adaptability. - Previous marketing, advertising or media agency experience are a plus. - Please note this role requires a candidate have proximity to our New York office.
