This role is responsible for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The position involves processing a high volume of invoices and maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. Key Responsibilities - Process a high volume of invoices and verify transaction information. - Schedule and prepare disbursements and obtain authorization for payment. - Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. - Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements. - Perform independent research to identify any discrepancies and related transactions. - Manage vendor-related queries and issues and communicate with internal stakeholders. - Maintain historical records by filing documents electronically or physically. - Participate in financial audits and assist in the resolution of audit findings.
