Relocation candidates are fine. Approx. 45 hours/week Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for the duration of the contract Overview Apex Systems is seeking a PeopleSoft FIN Accounts Payable Functional Analyst to support a state government client. This role will join a small team supporting PeopleSoft Financials and is a 100% functional position focused on production support and project-based enhancements. There is also an opportunity to take on light coordination responsibilities at a lead level. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the functional SME for PeopleSoft Financials, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable - Provide production support (approximately 70% of workload), including issue resolution and troubleshooting - Escalate technical issues to development teams as needed - Communicate directly with business users to gather requirements and resolve system issues - Support project-based initiatives (approximately 30% of workload) - Assist with implementation efforts, including: - Fixed Assets (integrated with Accounts Payable) - Lease Administration (integrated with Accounts Payable) - Participate in PUM upgrades (preferred) - Act as a subject matter expert to support the training team with updates to training materials - Provide occasional on-call support Required Qualifications - Strong functional experience with PeopleSoft Financials, specifically Accounts Payable - 100% functional background (no development responsibilities) - Experience supporting end users and resolving functional issues - Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams - Role requires strong stakeholder engagement and hands-on functional expertise Preferred Qualifications - Experience with PeopleSoft Expenses module - Experience with PUM upgrades - Experience implementing Fixed Assets and/or Lease Administration - Experience in public sector or government environments Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
