Creative Director
Marigold
• Own and evolve Marigold’s visual brand identity system, including brand strategy, design system documentation, guidelines, components, and standards to ensure consistency across products and customer touchpoints. • Set creative strategy and direction while personally producing high-impact assets including digital advertising campaigns, website design and updates, email campaigns, sales presentations, social content, and event materials. • Partner with Marketing and Product leadership to translate business objectives and product growth initiatives into compelling, measurable creative campaigns. • Collaborate with UI/UX leaders to establish and maintain product UI brand standards, ensuring cohesive visual identity across software experiences. • Vet, hire, brief, and manage external creative contractors and agencies, including scope definition, timeline management, budget oversight, and quality control. • Present creative concepts and strategic rationale to executive stakeholders, providing creative leadership across cross-functional teams while balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Job Requirements
- 6–8+ years of progressive design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating both brand strategy and exceptional execution across digital products and marketing.
- Experience working within software or technology brands, including building scalable design systems that support multiple products and mediums.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design tools.
- Proven experience managing external creative vendors, contractors, or agencies, including vetting talent, negotiating scopes, managing budgets, and ensuring quality delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements and marketing objectives into scalable, impactful creative solutions.
- Strong communication and executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present creative work to leadership.
