Billing Operations Manager

• Optimize the end-to-end subscription billing process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment across the customer journey and department lines. • Manage quote-to-cash systems (Salesforce + Netsuite) and billing operations support for front-line teams. • Take ownership of sales deal desk processes: supporting sales and renewals teams, addressing operational challenges, and streamlining subscription management. • Support Salesforce CPQ system’s stability and improvements to support subscription and billing processes. • Train and support sales and billing teams on CPQ best practices and updates. • Own a roadmap to drive process improvements in the integration workflow for scalability and efficiency. • Collaborate with sales, legal, and finance teams to streamline deal desk processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in billing, finance, or revenue operations, ideally in subscription-based or SaaS business models.
  • Proven expertise with CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ), including audits, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and NetSuite; bonus for integration work using Celigo or similar tools.
  • CPA or significant accounting experience is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in billing/invoicing procedures and enforcing policies for accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp) and communication platforms like Slack.
  • Skilled at creating and analyzing billing metrics, identifying trends, and improving processes.
  • Data-driven with the ability to manipulate and troubleshoot large datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate documentation and scalable systems.
