Role Description We are currently looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team! This role will be responsible for leading their individual team or practitioners. The duties can include: - Supervising COTAs - Mentorship - Training - Leading team meetings - Reviewing documentation - Problem solving - Family & Practitioner communication - Direct treatment Responsibilities: - Maintain a caseload for direct occupational therapy and language services online, including evaluations and treatment (50%). - Serve as a Clinical Supervisor for assigned occupational therapists and/or graduate students. - Serve as the first point of contact for assigned providers (OT and COTA) on a team. - Responsible for overall productivity of their assigned team. - Be willing to jump in to provide direct services as needed if the team has gaps. - Assist the Clinical Lead to support telehealth utilization and key performance indicator data through weekly reports (Utilization, Capacity and Productivity of SLP/As). - Communicate and support clinicians with questions in the ticketing system. - Ensure timeliness of documentation for the assigned team based on reports. - Conduct clinical observations as part of the clinical quality improvement process. - Serve as the main liaison between clinicians on the assigned team and Clinical Lead. Qualifications - Occupational Therapy License: Hold a valid CA Occupational Therapy license. - Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. - Telehealth Competence: Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology. - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and document treatments. - Empathy and Patience: Compassion and patience to work effectively with patients facing various challenges. - Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Requirements - Salary range is commensurate with experience and qualifications: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00.
