Role Description As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients. Your mission is to generate and qualify leads, build relationships, and help drive revenue growth by connecting organizations with our cutting-edge Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions. You will have the opportunity to work for a leading legal operations consulting firm. Our team of experts delivers innovative solutions in Ironclad, Agiloft, and DocuSign. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and prospect new business opportunities through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, events) - Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and messaging - Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM system - Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and our service offerings - Support the sales team in pipeline development and strategic account planning - Support Spaulding Ridge Managing Director(s) and/or Principal Architect(s) to drive and manage complex sales cycles and efficiently present value to prospects, software partners, and clients - Generate pipeline by leveraging Spaulding Ridge’s strategic relationships, demand generation tools, and ongoing marketing automation within key market segments - Develop qualified prospects by: - Following up on marketing-generated leads and inbound requests - Following up with event attendees - Performing outbound cold calling and email correspondence - Utilizing other forms of digital prospecting to targeted prospects - Develop co-selling transformative opportunities with technology partners - Exceed weekly and monthly sales metrics, forecasts, meeting, and call objectives - Ability to identify cross-sell opportunities across practice areas - Represent Spaulding Ridge’s values with each touchpoint Qualifications - 2-4 years as an Account Executive, or similar sales role - Experience in cold prospecting, qualifying, negotiation, closing, and managing accounts post-sale - Strong communication skills (e.g., oral, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills - Comfortable with cold outreach and lead generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) - Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, MS Dynamics) - Familiarity with Integrations and/or Data Solutions platforms (i.e. Mulesoft, Boomi, Snowflake, Databricks) - Interest in cloud technologies and digital transformation - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalism - Experience working based off a transactional quota and high intensity sales motions - High moral character with a desire to do what is right for prospects and clients - Ability to travel up to 50% Preferred Qualifications - Experience self-generating new business and upside if familiar with channel relationship selling - Prior experience selling Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions — especially in a consulting or B2B environment Benefits - Generous time off - Paid holidays - Paid parental leave - 401(k) with company match - Highly subsidized health, dental, and vision plans - Company-paid life and disability insurance - Monthly allowance for well-being and technology expenses - Reimbursement for approved learning and development initiatives within defined limits Salary Range $110,000 — $178,000 USD Company Description Spaulding Ridge is an advisory and IT implementation firm.
