Role Description Wowza Media Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team responsible for the core data infrastructure that powers our entire product ecosystem — including the systems that process product usage, manage customer account data, and report into our billing and CRM platforms. This is not a greenfield role. You'll be joining a team with a set of mature, business-critical systems and will be expected to understand them deeply, identify opportunities to modernize and reduce complexity, and execute those improvements with confidence and care. Key Responsibilities - Ensure that every byte of product usage is accurately captured, transformed, and monetized, directly impacting the company’s bottom line. - Participate in architectural decisions as we transition our data pipelines. - Work with AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, and other data lake and ETL tooling, ensuring reliable data ingestion, transformation, and availability for cross-system reporting. - Bring modern patterns (Hexagonal Architecture, DDD) to modern Laravel (v11+) codebase. - Integrate and maintain connections between internal systems and third-party platforms (billing, CRM, payment providers, etc.). - Maintain and evolve customer-facing account management UIs built with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. - Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint ceremonies. - Collaborate with remote teammates across time zones via video conference and async communication. Qualifications - 8+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Strong hands-on experience with modern PHP and the Laravel framework. - Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL or similar) and data modeling. - Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, or similar). - Experience building and maintaining REST API integrations with third-party platforms. - Skilled with front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. - A track record of inheriting legacy systems, assessing technical debt, and executing pragmatic improvements. - Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can articulate tradeoffs clearly and build consensus. - Self-directed and comfortable working as part of a geographically distributed team. Requirements - Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code. - Experience with CPQ/billing platforms such as Zuora. - Experience integrating with CRM/CPQ platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce. - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.). - Familiarity with Scrum/Agile or Kanban methodologies. Role Description Bi-lingual Environmental Sustainability Data Scorer roles (4 Week FTC September - October 2026). Are you fluent in both German and English? Do you have a keen eye for data and are passionate about developing a career in environmental sustainability? We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our fast-paced and diligent scoring team. Our client scores companies and cities on their environmental performance. We are looking for several scorers to contribute to the successful delivery of the 2025 scoring process. This would involve applying scoring methodologies to various responses across climate change, water security, and forests. For the right candidates, this experience could lead to excellent opportunities and supercharge a career in sustainability, with successful candidates receiving training to qualify as a recognised scorer (the role requires scorers to undertake three weeks full-time paid training followed by an exam). - Working independently, as part of the scoring team to deliver the annual scoring cycle, including: - Undertake and successfully pass training course to become a certified scorer. - Scoring corporate and/or city responses to a high degree of accuracy in line with scoring criteria. - Perform quality assurance checks against defined scoring criteria. Qualifications - High attention to detail and ability to work to tight timelines. - The ability to understand and analyse qualitative and quantitative data. - Good proficiency with IT tools, MS tools. Role requires basic Excel skills/web browser use. - Diligent working style with a proven record of working independently under tight timelines to deliver projects successfully. - (Desirable, not essential) Academic and/or professional experience in climate change, water security, deforestation, corporate sustainability and/or sustainable cities. - Language Skills Preferable (English & German). Requirements - Training to begin September 2025, work to begin October 2025. Role to finish in November. - Scorers will be expected to WFH. - Standard UK working day (9am - 6pm). Equipment requirements - Scorers expected to have own Laptop device to work from, 2nd screen/monitor is recommended but not required. - We will provide licences for required software.

• Create a shared vision and cohesive roadmap for HubSpot's data primitives — objects, properties, property groups, associations, and the metadata systems that make them discoverable and extensible • Own the API mission for Data Platform: define standards for how our data layer is surfaced to developers, set the direction for API quality and consistency, and coordinate with Ecosystem and Partnerships teams on where API capability unlocks platform value • Drive alignment on schema evolution across HubSpot — working with PMs, engineers, and architects across Marketing, Sales, Service, and AI Agents to ensure the data model grows in a way that's backward-compatible and forward-looking • Guide new product ideas from initial concept all the way through launch, including shipping improvements to how customers define and manage their own data model in HubSpot • Understand our customers and their data complexity by engaging with them directly — from SMBs managing simple contact records to enterprise teams running sophisticated multi-object data architectures • Use data and developer research to identify friction in our API surface, devise strategy to address it, and partner with engineering to ship improvements that measurably improve developer experience • Represent the data primitives and API roadmap to senior leadership, Ecosystem partners, and key enterprise customers
