An overview of this role As an Ironclad Administrator on GitLab's IT Enterprise Applications team within the Lead-to-Cash organization, you'll own the day-to-day administration, optimization, and evolution of our Ironclad contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform. You'll serve as the primary technical point of contact for contract workflows across the business, partnering closely with Legal Operations, Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Partner Operations to translate requirements into scalable configurations. You'll help drive faster, more consistent contracting by improving workflows, enabling automation and reporting, and supporting a stable, compliant environment in a fully remote, async-first culture. What you'll do Administer, configure, and maintain the Ironclad contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform, including workflow design, template management, clause libraries, approval chains, and user access controls, following SOX-compliant change management processes. Partner with Legal Operations, Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Partner Operations to gather requirements, translate them into scalable Ironclad configurations, and communicate updates in an async-first, fully remote environment. Design, build, and optimize end-to-end contract workflows, including sales agreements, partner agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), amendments, renewals, and other contracting processes as business needs evolve. Manage and maintain integrations between Ironclad and adjacent Lead-to-Cash systems, including Salesforce, Zuora CPQ, DocuSign, and NetSuite, collaborating with engineering and other system administrators to support data integrity and reliable handoffs. Use Ironclad AI capabilities (including AI Assist, AI Playbooks, Smart Import, and clause detection) to improve contract review efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support compliance across the contract lifecycle. Build and maintain Ironclad dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into contract status, cycle times, bottlenecks, and compliance metrics for stakeholders and leadership. Lead small to medium-sized projects to enhance CLM functionality and user experience, and document configurations, processes, and standards in the GitLab handbook. Troubleshoot and resolve Ironclad platform issues of moderate to high complexity, manage vendor escalations and support tickets, and conduct configuration reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to internal standards. What you'll bring 3+ years of hands-on contract lifecycle management (CLM) administration experience, with Ironclad experience strongly preferred; DocuSign CLM experience is also considered.Hands-on administration experience with a contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform (Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, or similar). Demonstrated experience designing, building, and optimizing contract workflows in a B2B SaaS or technology environment (for example, sales agreements, partner agreements, nondisclosure agreements, amendments, renewals).ability to design, build, and optimize contract workflows and translate business requirements into scalable CLM configurations (workflows, templates, clause libraries, approvals, and user access controls), with clear documentation and attention to detail. Experience supporting SOX-compliant change management and IT General Controls (ITGC) in a public company or similarly regulated environment. Working knowledge of lead-to-cash systems and processes, including familiarity with Salesforce, Zuora CPQ, NetSuite, and DocuSign; experience supporting integrations (application programming interfaces (APIs), middleware, or related tooling) is a plus.DocuSign. About the team We on GitLab’s IT Enterprise Applications team are responsible for the critical business systems that power our Lead-to-Cash, Order-to-Revenue, and Procure-to-Pay operations, including Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, DocuSign, and Ironclad. You'll join a fully remote, globally distributed team that works asynchronously with Legal Operations, Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Partner Operations, and other system owners to deliver reliable, scalable workflows and a stable production environment. In this role, you'll be embedded within the Lead-to-Cash systems group alongside teams responsible for core quote-to-cash systems. We’re focused on improving the end-to-end contract experience from intake through execution and renewal, increasing automation and data quality across connected systems, and maintaining strong governance to support compliance requirements. The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of the United States only. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, alignment with market data, and geographic location. The base salary range does not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits. Role Description OpenLoop is looking for a Senior Director, SEC Reporting / Technical Accounting, to lead the company’s external reporting function in preparation for becoming a public company.
