Principal Software Engineer

Kaseya

• Define and drive architecture for enterprise SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and shared platform services • Lead complex technical initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams, products, and business domains • Establish technical direction for scalability, reliability, security, observability, and platform modernization efforts • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business objectives into long-term technical strategies • Lead architecture reviews, design reviews, and technical decision-making for high-impact initiatives • Drive engineering standards and best practices related to system design, operational excellence, automation, and software quality • Mentor senior engineers, staff engineers, and technical leads through technical guidance and architectural leadership • Identify opportunities to simplify systems, reduce technical debt, and improve engineering velocity across teams

Job Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience building SaaS applications, distributed systems, or enterprise software platforms
  • Experience leading architecture and technical strategy across multiple teams or product areas
  • Experience delivering large-scale technical initiatives involving distributed systems, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications
  • Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available production systems
  • Experience driving technical standards, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices across an organization
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, IT management software, automation platforms, or cybersecurity products
  • Experience with technologies such as Java, C#, .NET, SQL, AWS, Azure, or similar enterprise technology stacks
  • Experience leading platform modernization, cloud transformation, or large-scale architecture initiatives
  • Experience working with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and event-driven platforms
  • Experience mentoring senior technical talent and influencing engineering organizations without direct management authority
  • Experience integrating AI-enabled capabilities into production software systems
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) in engineering workflows.

Title: Note Taker - Part-Time Location: Chicago United States Job Description: Note Taker - Part Time Access Center Kennedy-King College PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Note Takers attend classes with students who have disabilities, (i.e. visual or hearing impairments, learning or other disabilities) to take thorough legible, and organized notes from classroom lectures, including exam dates, assignments, and other pertinent information. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Take notes in class for students with disabilities. - Read printed material aloud for students with visual impairments. - Transcribe for students with mobility impairments. - Assist students with visual impairments in math classes by copying information from the board in large print. - Assist students who are visually impaired by using raised line drawing materials to produce tactile graphs used in Math classes. - Assist students with visual impairments in science labs by providing verbal descriptions of visual information. - Serve as a proctor for students with disabilities during tests. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.
