Role Description At AIS, we are seeking a talented individual to join as a QA Engineer. You will support the unique needs of our client as a Cloud Application Tester - Mid. - Perform activities related to cloud systems verification and validation, including functional tests, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications. - Utilize trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools, and processes. - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for cloud-hosted applications and services. - Coordinate with engineers to validate requirements, interfaces, and defect remediation. - Automate repeatable test activities where feasible and document results for audits and stakeholders. - Track defects, perform regression testing, and support release readiness decisions. - Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tooling, and metrics. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 4+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments. - Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications. - Active Secret clearance (or higher). - Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering/documentation practices. Requirements - Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems (nice to have).
