Role Description We are seeking a Senior Manager, HR Operations & Systems, to lead and optimize core HR processes and programs across the employee lifecycle. This role will drive operational excellence by standardizing workflows, improving policies and procedures, enhancing service delivery, and partnering across HR, IT, Payroll, and other functions to ensure scalable, efficient, and employee-centered People Operations. This is an opportunity to lead a team responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality HR operations while improving the employees’ experience through stronger processes and service delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in HR operations, process improvement, and cross-functional execution, with the ability to translate business needs into practical and sustainable operating models. Knowledge of Workday HR systems is important, but this role is primarily focused on building a high-performing HR Operations function that delivers consistency, efficiency, and strong internal service. What You'll Do - Lead and optimize core HR Operations processes, embedding AI agents and agentic workflows across onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle changes, and recruiting, etc. - Standardize HR processes, documentation, and operating procedures to improve consistency, efficiency, and compliance. - Identify process gaps, friction points, redundancies, and manual work, and implement scalable, streamlined, tech-enabled solutions. - Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, Shared Services, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of People programs and processes. - Establish and monitor operational metrics, service levels, and process performance indicators to drive continuous improvement. - Support HR systems enhancements and process changes in partnership with HRIS and IT teams. - Lead change management, communications, and training related to People Operations processes, policies, and tools. - Ensure People Operations practices align with data governance, internal controls, and applicable employment and compliance requirements. - Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for delivering efficient, scalable, and employee-centered HR operations. - Establish metrics to track automation impact, time saved, productivity gains, and user adoption. Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, Shared Services, or HR program delivery. - Demonstrated success leading and improving HR processes in a complex, high-growth, or global organization. - Strong experience in process design, SOP development, service delivery, and operational governance. - Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, IT, Legal, and Finance. - Experience partnering with IT to deliver HR system implementations and integrations. - Experience leading change management and implementing process improvements at scale. - Strong knowledge of HR systems, with experience working in Workday environments preferred. - Ability to use data and metrics to identify trends, measure service performance, and guide decisions. - Prior leadership experience, including team development and performance management. - Experience in SaaS, high growth technology, or other fast-paced environments preferred. Job Summary The HR Business Partner II supports Manheim Shared Services HRBPs by delivering People Solutions services and advising managers on day-to-day HR programs, policies, and processes. This role partners with HRBPs and Centers of Excellence to implement people initiatives, support talent processes, and provide data-driven insights that improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
