• The Tibetan Telephone Interpreter is responsible for handling calls on demand, and renders the meaning of conversations between Tibetan and English speakers. • The interpreter breaks the communication barrier in a wide range of industries that LanguageLine Solutions serves: Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, General Business, Law Enforcement, Court, and 911. • The interpreter processes information quickly, concisely and recognizes sensitive cultural differences. • The interpreter is professional and courteous at all times and uses appropriate terminology and understands common industry procedures and practices. • The interpreting sessions may involve simple or complex, technical or non-technical subjects.
Job Requirements
- Fluency in Tibetan and English and skilled in the associated cultural dynamics.
- Ability to provide cultural competency and assess regional and accent differences to find ways of communicating with the LEP.
- Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation.
- Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, remain neutral and objective at all times, and remain on calls that involve sensitive subjects such as end of life conversations, pregnancy termination, vaccinations, and matters concerning sexual orientation and/or gender expression.
- Education or work experience in language-related fields such as teaching, language assessment, translation or interpretation preferred.
- Must be able to adapt to any LLS technology enhancements that improve service delivery and meet client demands.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Candidates who are currently employed by a client of LanguageLine Solutions or an affiliated LanguageLine Solutions business may not be eligible for consideration.
- Ability to read and write the requested languages - highly preferred.

Role Description ¡Estamos en búsqueda del mejor talento bilingüe para ser Intérpretes y trabajar de manera remota en cualquier lugar de Colombia! - No necesitas experiencia laboral previa, solo un nivel súper avanzado de inglés. - Facilitar la comunicación entre dos personas que no tienen conocimiento del otro idioma, fundamentalmente en el sector salud. - Desde el día 1 de capacitación vas a estar respaldado/a por un Contrato Indefinido. - La capacitación es remota con cámara y micrófono abierto, en horario fijo de lunes a viernes de 8:00 AM a 4:30 PM. - Al aprobar la capacitación, puedes organizar el horario como prefieras: - Elegir trabajar 36, 40 o 42 horas a la semana. - Elegir la cantidad de horas que quieres trabajar al día (mínimo 4 horas, máximo 10 horas). • Define and lead the enterprise localisation operating model for certificate and learning products • Establish governance frameworks to ensure linguistic accuracy, terminology consistency, and quality across languages and annual update cycles • Own the end-to-end localisation lifecycle, with accountability for strategy, delivery, budget, timelines, and risk • Develop and lead a small specialist team, initially lean in size with planned growth over time • Select and manage language service providers and reviewers, setting clear performance expectations and measurable quality outcomes • Own the localisation technology ecosystem, including TMS and QA tooling, ensuring scalable and integrated workflows • Partner with Product Management, Education, Technology, Marketing, and regional stakeholders to align localisation with product roadmaps and release schedules • Monitor and optimise KPIs across cost, quality, turnaround time, and customer impact to drive continuous improvement
