JOB SUMMARY Arch Financial Holdings Australia Pty Ltd and its subsidiaries ("Arch LMI") are an APRA licensed provider of Lenders Mortgage Insurance ("LMI"). ALMI is a subsidiary of Arch Capital Group Ltd ("ACGL"); which is a S&P 500 global provider of insurance and reinsurance across a variety of product lines. The Head of Product & Transformation provides leadership for Australian product strategy, technology platform direction and transformation delivery. The role is responsible for shaping and executing the roadmap in partnership with global teams, influencing senior stakeholders and governance forums, and ensuring customer (lender) outcomes, commercial performance and regulatory obligations are supported. RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES Product & Technology Platform Strategy - Define and own the Australian product and technology platform strategy aligned to local market, lender, and regulatory needs. - Lead development of an AU-centric product and platform roadmap and secure alignment/commitment through group planning, balancing strategic value, risk, capacity and commercial priorities. - Represent Australian product and platform requirements with global technology teams; influence prioritisation, negotiate scope and timelines, and drive delivery trade-offs to achieve agreed business outcomes. - Lead onboarding and integration of new lenders and partners, including senior stakeholder management, commercial/operational negotiation, and issue resolution. - Provide senior product leadership to key lender relationships; negotiation of product, service and platform changes impacting customer experience and performance. - Identify product, platform and regulatory-driven opportunities and risks; provide strategic recommendations and decision papers to executive leadership and relevant governance committees. - Embed contemporary product management practices and mature a product-led operating model. - Transformation & Program Delivery - Lead Arch LMI's transformation agenda, including technology-enabled capability uplift and operating maturity. - Develop and execute a transformation roadmap covering milestones, resourcing, dependencies, and change management. - Provide portfolio-level governance across initiatives, including prioritisation, benefits tracking, financial stewardship, and delivery assurance across internal and vendor teams. - Drive digital initiatives to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and lender experience. - Lead proactive risk management across the transformation portfolio in line with risk appetite and regulatory expectations, escalating issues and driving resolution with accountable executives. - Report on transformation progress, risks and outcomes to the CTOO and governance forums, including preparation of executive-ready materials for Australia Board and Committee engagement as required. - Technology Governance & Local Operational Oversight - Provide governance oversight of local technology activities supporting Australian operations within a globally managed environment. - Maintain accountability for execution and evidence of defined local technology controls, including User Access Reviews (delegated execution with accountable sign-off). - Oversee local policy compliance activities and regulatory control attestations. - Provide coordination and escalation for non-local technology operations and controls owned by global teams. - Own local technology incident management for issues impacting Australian operations, including customer (lender) communications, senior stakeholder management and executive escalation. - Oversee limited local application support for Australian-owned platforms and hardware only. - Maintain vendor governance for Australian-managed managed service providers (MSPs). - Act as final business signatory for local change approvals impacting Australian operations. - Ensure compliance with local data governance obligations across product and transformation activities. - Governance, Risk & Regulatory Support - Maintain governance frameworks across the Product & Transformation function aligned to the enterprise risk framework. - Support CPS 230 and CPS 234 compliance through local control execution, evidence, and assurance activities. - Coordinate inputs into group-owned policies, frameworks, and regulatory attestations. - Support FAR obligations by contributing documentation, role clarity, and evidence without holding primary accountability. Providing attestations for delegated responsibilities in support of the Accountable Person(s). - Partner with Line 1 Risk and assurance teams on risk identification, control testing, incidents, audits, and regulatory reporting. - Delivering requirements, monitoring, reviewing and approving changes to systems and infrastructure in relation to new regulatory requirements. - Reviewing and approving the Disaster Recovery planning and testing undertaken by partners. - Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement - Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team across product management andtransformation delivery; set clear performance expectations and build leadership capability. - Build strong, outcome-focused relationships with global technology and operations counterparts. - Engage Executive Leadership, Board and Committees on product, platform and transformation matters; influence decisions through clear narrative, options analysis and recommendations. - Represent Arch LMI with lenders, partners and industry stakeholders as a senior leader, including leading customer-facing workshops and resolving complex commercial and delivery issues. - Foster a culture of accountability, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Knowledge & Skills: - Deep mortgage and LMI market understanding with an ability to translate external customer and regulatory signals into strategy. - Senior program/portfolio management experience in financial services, including governance, benefits realisation and executive reporting. - Proven customer-facing leadership with demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills across lenders, partners and service providers. - Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into executable programs of work, mobilising teams and driving outcomes through ambiguity. - Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence; confident presenting to senior leaders and governance forums. - Demonstrated people management capability, including team leadership, performance management, talent development and succession planning. Education & Experience: - 10+ years' experience in financial services (preferably mortgage/LMI/insurance) with senior accountability. - 5 years experience in strategic program delivery - 5+ years' experience leading enterprise change, including stakeholder management and change adoption. Role Description As a Product Coordinator at Accomsure, you’ll play a vital role in supporting customers displaced by property insurance claims by sourcing accommodation solutions. This includes managing reservations, negotiating favorable lease terms, and building relationships with property management vendors. You'll collaborate across teams to ensure seamless customer service while adhering to legal and policy standards. Qualifications - 1-2 years of experience in property management or a service-based industry such as hospitality, real estate, or travel and tourism is highly preferred. - Must be fluent in both English and Quebecois French. - Experience with conflict resolution and customer relationship management is advantageous. - Familiarity with Revenue Management strategies and best practices is desirable. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM platforms is an asset. - Demonstrated ability to prepare contracts, leases, and other formal documentation with attention to compliance and accuracy.
