OVERVIEW We’re looking for a Freelance Session Coordinator to join our Product Operations Team as a remote Flexible worker. 🚀 As a Session Coordinator at Decoded, you’re responsible for hosting and delivering a smooth virtual workshop experience for our Mindset learning programmes. Learners within multinational corporations across varying sectors advance their data and digital literacy in our virtual workshops delivered globally, taught by our subject matter experts, Associate Facilitators. In this role you will ensure that every interaction learners have with Decoded in the virtual workshop setting is of exceptional quality. You will work alongside our team of Associate Facilitators and Product Operation Managers to deliver smooth-running workshops. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Workshop preparation - Becoming familiar with the client briefing document ahead of the workshop - Open the virtual workshop on Zoom or Microsoft Teams 30 minutes before the session is due to begin - Lead the workshop set-up meeting, resolve or escalate technical or practical issues that might affect the smooth set-up of the workshop in a timely manner - Prepare the Facilitators by running through the pre-workshop checklist - Be the point of contact for internal staff immediately before and during the workshop Workshop delivery - Manage the virtual waiting room, communicating with the attendees where needed - Welcome learners to the workshop & be responsible for engaging learner correspondence in the virtual chat - Record learner attendance as instructed by the Product Operations Team - Support attendees with technical issues they may have during the session - Set-up, introduce and manage breakout rooms - Provide links and information in the virtual workshop chat for attendees as required - Support teachers with workshop timings and overall pacing support - Highlight questions in the chat to teachers as required Workshop wrap-up - Wrap up the session by gathering learner feedback via the online survey - Lead the post workshop debrief & complete internal feedback on the facilitation team - Escalate any issues and share feedback workshop with Product Operations Managers - WHO ARE YOU? - Looking for a professional role that can be carried out remotely with flexible hours - Experience working with virtual meeting platforms, specifically Zoom and Microsoft Teams (further documentation is provided) - Confident in leading set-up meetings ahead of workshops with fellow associates - Highly organised and have excellent time-keeping - A confident and professional communicator who can put people at ease - A confident problem-solver who can navigate problems calmly It would be an additional bonus if you have an interest in education and technology. THE TEAM You will be reporting into the Product Operations Team: our Facilitation Manager will manage your working hours, assign work & schedule; our Product Operations Manager will support you with day to day session delivery queries, quarterly meetings & relevant performance feedback. Job requirements DAY TO DAY Our workshops are delivered primarily in the UK, Central Europe, and HKT time zones. We welcome candidates from any location that is suitable for these timezones’ working hours. You will be based remotely. Based on your monthly schedule & availability, you will be offered work assignments by the Facilitation Manager, between the hours of 08:00 - 21:00 within your timezone, to accept at your discretion.
