Role Description We are seeking a visionary, forward-thinking Director of Strategic Internal Communications to lead the internal communications that bring Lumen’s product and technology story to life. This individual will work in close partnership with corporate communications leadership, product and technology leaders, and senior executives to ensure unified messaging, deliver impactful communications, and drive organizational engagement and alignment through periods of change. Main Responsibilities - Product & Technology Storytelling: Own and shape the forward-looking internal narrative about the future of Lumen’s products and services, translating portfolio strategy and technology direction into a clear, compelling story about where we are going and why it matters to employees. - Strategic Communications Leadership: Design, implement, and oversee internal communication strategies that connect Lumen’s product and technology evolution to the company’s broader transformation, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and driving employee understanding, engagement, and advocacy. - Team Leadership & Collaboration: Build, lead, and mentor a communications team as the pillar grows, cultivating a collaborative, innovative culture. Partner extensively with corporate communications, product, technology, and go-to-market leaders to ensure unified messaging and strategic alignment. - Executive & Leadership Communications: Work directly with product and technology leaders and senior executives to develop compelling messaging and materials that reinforce Lumen’s product vision, priorities, and company values, enhancing leadership visibility and inspiring employees at all levels. - Transformation & Change Communications: Oversee communications for product and technology transformation initiatives, providing clarity, transparency, and timely updates that help employees navigate change and understand its impact. - Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with go-to-market and business unit communications to ensure the product and technology story ladders up consistently to how Lumen sells, markets, and delivers. - Channel & Content Execution: Collaborate with enterprise channel and editorial teams to ensure product and technology content is delivered effectively and consistently across all internal channels, leveraging shared infrastructure to maximize reach and impact. - Brand and Message Consistency: Safeguard the integrity of Lumen’s internal brand and ensure all product and technology messaging reflects our values and strategic direction. - Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Monitor employee feedback, measure the effectiveness of communication efforts, analyze insights, and recommend improvements to maximize impact. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field. - 10-15 years of experience in internal communications, product/technology communications or a similar role. - Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. - Proven experience managing executive communications and partnering with senior leaders. - Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. - Creative thinker with innovative communication solutions. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms. - Experience in change management communications. - Experience with graphic design and video production is a plus. - Knowledge of digital communication tools, AI tools, intranets, and social media. Compensation This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Appraisal Coordinator Remote Operations Full time Costa Mesa, California, United States The Opportunity: Coordinates the appraisal functions and maintains the internal/external pipeline on behalf of the JMAC appraisal department. Responsible for placing appraisal orders with approved AMC and fee panel, reviewing appraisal reports in accordance to JMAC’s, FHA’s, investor’s, and USPAP guidelines upon receipt, supporting sales teams and operations with appraisal issues and negotiating turn times with appraisers and vendors and guarantee quality reports completed by appraiser. AMC Oversight and Reporting - Evaluate AMC performance by analyzing Mercury Network reports. - Update AMCs with appraisal exclusion lists as needed. - Vet and onboard new AMCs. Staff Development - Revise appraisal resources, training materials, policies, and procedures as appropriate. - Effectively train Appraisal Coordinators to meet company standards. - Provide ongoing training to ensure compliance with investor and company policies. - Hold staff accountable for achieving goals and completing assignments, taking necessary actions when challenges arise.
