• Design, plan, and implement secure local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless environments. • Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs. • Monitor network performance, analyze bandwidth usage, and proactively troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and availability issues. • Support incident management and provide Level 2/3 technical support for network and infrastructure environments. • Implement and manage security controls, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions. • Conduct routine security audits and ensure compliance with organizational standards and cybersecurity best practices. • Develop, document, and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans to ensure business continuity. • Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. • Collaborate with global IT and infrastructure teams to improve network architecture, scalability, and reliability. • Support cloud networking initiatives and hybrid infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure). • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and network security standards. • Act as backup support for the network team when needed, ensuring operational continuity.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent English, with the ability to participate in daily meetings and prepare reports for the U.S. headquarters.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in network administration, infrastructure engineering, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and Layer 3 environments.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including IDS/IPS and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with cloud networking models (AWS, Azure) and virtualized environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.
- Strong documentation skills and technical writing abilities.
