Job Requirements
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy, or operational excellence within financial services or professional services — including a senior role as a COO, Chief of Staff or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success building, communicating, and executing business strategy, with a track record of owning cross-functional transformations, growth initiatives, and new capability builds from concept through delivery.
- Comfortable navigating senior stakeholder environments and communicating effectively — able to influence without authority and drive accountability across diverse teams
- Strong analytical skillset: able to build and interpret operational metrics, diagnose constraints, and drive high-impact fixes across complex workflows.
- Proven ability to lead through ambiguity — sets direction, builds teams, and delivers results without a fully-formed playbook.
- Working knowledge of AI and automation as applied to professional services — not necessarily a technologist, but able to engage credibly with Product and Engineering and drive an innovation agenda
- Familiarity with VOC programs, journey mapping, and experience measurement frameworks

Role Description The Director, Data & Analytics is responsible for establishing and leading SCN BestCo’s enterprise data and analytics function. This role defines the data strategy, designs and builds a modern cloud-based data platform, and enables trusted reporting, advanced analytics, and predictive insights across the organization. Reporting to the CIO, the position leads the development of data architecture, integration, governance, security, and analytics capabilities, partnering closely with business and technology leaders to ensure data is accurate, secure, and actionable. This is a foundational leadership role focused on building scalable data platforms, teams, and standards that support informed decision-making and long-term growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SCN BestCo’s enterprise data platform, including data architecture, integration, and analytics capabilities. - Build and maintain reliable data pipelines from SAP, JD Edwards (JDE), and other systems into the cloud using Boomi and Azure Data Factory. - Design, develop, and operate a dimensional data warehouse in Azure using Fact/Dimension modeling to support reporting and analytics. - Create and manage data marts that support business units and enable consistent, self-service reporting. - Oversee the full Power BI lifecycle including report development, data model optimization, publishing, and maintenance in Power BI Online. - Lead the delivery of advanced analytics and predictive modeling initiatives to support business decision-making and strategic planning. - Establish and enforce data governance practices, including data definitions, lineage, quality standards, and stewardship across the organization. - Define and implement data security and access controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Partner with business leaders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and translate needs into scalable data solutions. - Drive continuous improvement in data processes, tools, and standards to increase efficiency, data quality, and business value. - Travel required approximately 6–8 weeks per year (typically 2 weeks each quarter) to company facilities and key business locations for stakeholder engagement, team collaboration, and project delivery.
