Role Description We are seeking a high-energy AV Service Business Development Manager to drive growth within a rapidly expanding AV services and managed services organization. This role focuses on acquiring new service contracts, expanding market presence, and developing long-term relationships with enterprise, corporate, education, entertainment clients, and technology clients. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, developing new business, and closing service agreements. Key Responsibilities - Business Development Sales: - Identify, prospect, and secure new AV service contracts, including maintenance agreements, managed services, help desk support, system monitoring, and event support, and lifecycle management programs. - Execute high-volume outbound business development activities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and industry events. - Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. - Drive new revenue growth through consultative selling and relationship development. - Meet and exceed sales goals, revenue objectives, and key performance metrics. - Client Relationship Management: - Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, AV Managers, Facilities Directors, and other key decision-makers. - Understand client business objectives and recommend service solutions that improve system performance, reliability, and user experience. - Present service offerings, proposals, and value-driven business cases. - Negotiate and close service agreements while maintaining long-term client relationships. - Industry Engagement: - Represent the company at AV industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and professional associations. - Stay current on AV technology trends, market developments, and competitive offerings. - Identify new market opportunities and emerging service needs. - Collaboration Reporting: - Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, pipeline activity, and sales reporting. - Collaborate closely with sales, service, operations, engineering, and marketing teams. - Participate in strategic planning and market development initiatives. Qualifications - 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience within the AV / ProAV industry. - Proven track record developing new business and securing service, maintenance, support, or managed services contracts. - Strong understanding of AV technologies and solutions. - Experience selling into enterprise, corporate, education, transportation, healthcare, hospitality, or public sector environments. - Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. - Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Preferred - CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification. - Experience working for an AV integrator, manufacturer, managed services provider, or technology services organization. - Familiarity with QSC, Extron, Shure, Biamp, Pixera, ISSAC, and DV-LED technologies. - Experience supporting transportation, airport, or other mission-critical environments.
