• Hold the team accountable to performance and execution of business plans for each asset. • Monitor and improve against performance benchmarks (NOI, IRR, occupancy, rent growth). • Evaluate portfolio-level risks and opportunities and recommend adjustments. • Ensure execution against approved investment strategy and hold/sell decisions. • Monitor financial performance of each property (P&L, cash flow, variance to budget). • Set the strategic vision and direction for asset management, property management, and construction management. • Build, mentor, and develop the asset management team, including hiring, performance management, and succession planning. • Conduct periodic site visits and asset reviews. • Oversee and direct leasing strategy and execution across the portfolio. • Prepare and present quarterly asset and portfolio performance reports as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of coursework, certifications, and/or experience.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial (retail, industrial, office) real estate.
- 7+ years in commercial asset management, including direct people-management experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Financial analysis experience preferred.
- Argus Valuation and MRI experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel 25% of the month to multiple states.

Role Description The Senior Big Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and delivering highly scalable big data and ETL solutions across distributed environments. This role supports projects at various and unanticipated client worksites throughout the United States, with headquarters based in Chicago, IL. The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy data solutions that meet business and operational needs, leveraging modern big data frameworks, cloud platforms, and agile development practices.
