Finance Manager

• Support the team in the month-end close process for Amazon channel expenses, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and forecasting revenue. • Oversee the reconciliation of accrual and prepaid expense accounts, ensuring accurate recording and amortization of prepaid items. • Own, maintain, and enhance company financial and operating models: adapting and making improvements according to changing business needs, as well as providing insights informed by them. • Support annual budget and ongoing forecasting processes. • Provide monthly financial variance analysis and run budget/operational review meetings with department heads. • Provide strategic guidance using analytics initiatives such as business/economic/financial modeling and analysis based on multiple data sources. • Work closely with department leads to provide analytical support, assist with optimizing resource allocation, and proactively identify operational improvements. • Use Tableau and Quickbooks/MS Dynamics to mine and analyze data in order to provide the leadership team with learnings and recommendations. • Prepare flux analysis across the full P&L and Balance Sheet for senior management. • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. • Collaborate with various teams to review and maintain comprehensive cost trackers. • Manage schedules related to accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other pertinent financial components and ensure these schedules are up-to-date and reconciled regularly. • Offer detailed insights into significant month-over-month cost variations. • Aid in the Accounts Payable process, including invoice verification, approval workflows, and payment processing. • Manage ad hoc requests, reporting and projects for the team.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of finance experience preferably within an analytical role that involves budgeting and planning, financial modeling, and decision analytics (for example: corporate finance, investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, private equity)
  • 2+ years experience supporting a high growth Amazon channel within an eCommerce or CPG business is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
  • Experienced with Tableau (or other analytics platforms such as Looker, Mode, etc.), and Salesforce
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with the ability to manipulate, digest, and summarize large amounts of data
  • Proven ability to identify and drive process and system improvements
  • Passionate about accounting operations and willing to roll up your sleeves
  • Experience gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to various audiences
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adhere to tight deadlines, and be unafraid to ask questions
