Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with strong Aviatrix and AWS networking expertise to support a large-scale cloud transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting hybrid network architectures across on-premises and AWS environments. This role will initially require approximately 10 hours per week during the discovery phase , with increased involvement expected as the project progresses into design and implementation. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement enterprise-grade AWS networking solutions utilizing Aviatrix. - Develop architecture designs covering: - Compute sizing and instance selection - AWS networking architecture - Aviatrix Transit integration - Citrix NetScaler two-tier architecture - Storage architecture including AWS FSx sizing - Identity and authentication integrations - Disaster Recovery and Multi-AZ designs - Security, segmentation, and encryption requirements - Create migration strategies, wave plans, dependency mapping, and rollback procedures. - Integrate AWS accounts into existing HCP Landing Zone environments. - Configure and validate: - AWS VPCs - Aviatrix Transit Gateways - Routing policies - Hybrid cloud connectivity - Perform end-to-end connectivity testing between: - VDA and Exadata - VDA and Active Directory - External user ingress paths - Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and firewall teams to implement approved network policies. - Validate firewall rules and routing configurations across enterprise environments. - Troubleshoot complex networking and cloud connectivity issues. - Create detailed network diagrams, implementation documentation, and operational runbooks. Qualifications - 12+ years of Network Engineering experience. - Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Aviatrix solutions in AWS. - Strong AWS networking expertise including: - VPC - Transit Gateway - Direct Connect - VPN - Route Tables - Security Groups - Network ACLs - Strong understanding of: - TCP/IP - BGP - OSPF - DNS - Routing and Switching - Network Security - Experience integrating on-premises environments with AWS cloud infrastructure. - Experience with network segmentation, firewall policies, and secure cloud connectivity. - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Citrix NetScaler / ADC. - AWS FSx experience. - Active Directory integration experience. - AWS Landing Zone implementation experience. - Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code experience. - AWS Advanced Networking or Solutions Architect certifications. - Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cloud migrations.
