We are seeking an experienced senior lawyer to advise the CBA Group on the planning and implementation of APRA Prudential Standard CPS 900. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on a significant, group-wide program, while being part of a leading internal legal team. Do work that matters: You will take a lead role in providing practical, solution-focused legal advice and project leadership. This role would suit a lawyer who brings: - 6-8+ years relevant post-admission experience in a top-tier Australian or international firm or large in-house team and a current unrestricted NSW (or equivalent) practising certificate; - Experience in one of the following areas: - financial services regulation, hybrid securities or wholesale debt transactions or APRA's prudential and capital framework; - corporate advisory, contract advisory (including technology, outsourcing or commercial contracts) or complex contract remediation; and/or - large regulatory change programs. - Demonstrated ability to lead legal workstreams within multi‑disciplinary projects; - Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging with senior leaders; and - A team-oriented outlook, a "can do" attitude, integrity and sound judgment.
