About the role We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help scale the Solutions organization at Airwallex. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, delivery, and technical enablement. It is designed for someone who can translate leadership priorities into clear operating mechanisms, drive cross-functional programs across Solutions, Product, Commercial, DevX, Operations, and Salesforce Ops, and build the systems that allow the team to support more customers with greater consistency and leverage. This is not a traditional project coordinator role. The mandate is to help Solutions evolve into a disciplined global operating model, while also supporting a new builder motion where Solutions teams create reusable tools, automation, AI-assisted workflows, documentation, and product-adjacent assets that improve delivery speed and customer outcomes. What you'll do - Own strategic programs that improve how the Solutions organization operates globally, including capacity planning, intake and prioritization, handoff design, reporting cadences, and cross-functional accountability. - Drive the ongoing evolution of the Solutions strategic backlog, turning leadership priorities into scoped initiatives with owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes. - Improve operating discipline by defining hygiene standards, status models, prioritization reviews, stale-case handling, and visibility into real workload and blockers. - Build and run weekly, monthly, and quarterly business rhythms for Solutions leadership, ensuring metrics are actionable, well-defined, and tied to clear owners and follow-up actions. - Partner with regional leads to define and operationalize engagement criteria, delivery frameworks, handoff thresholds, and role clarity across SE, SA, TAM, Delivery, Support, and partner teams. - Stand up and manage the Solution team's Feature Builder Program operating layer, including backlog normalization, prioritization, governance and adoption measurement across regions, moving builder work from ad hoc side effort into a formal execution model with protected time, clear project ownership, risk-based governance, and visible outcomes. - Work with DevX, Product, and engineering partners to improve self-serve support, documentation quality, AI workflows, and reusable technical assets that reduce repetitive SE effort. - Drive structured voice-of-customer and product feedback loops so field insights become better docs, better tooling, and better product decisions. Who you are - You have strong program management instincts and know how to bring structure to ambiguous, cross-functional work. - You are comfortable operating in technical environments and can work effectively with Solutions Engineers, Product, and engineering teams, even if you are not expected to be a hands-on coder. - You can move between strategy and execution: defining frameworks, writing narratives, building cadences, aligning stakeholders, and following through on details. - You are highly organized and know how to turn scattered ideas, competing asks, and evolving priorities into a coherent roadmap and execution plan. - You have strong judgment on governance and risk, especially when new tooling, AI workflows, or customer-adjacent assets need to be scaled responsibly. - You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are able to drive alignment across regions and functions. Preferred experience - Experience in technical program management, operations strategy, solutions operations, or PMO roles in a B2B SaaS, fintech or fast-paced environment. - Past consulting experience is preferred, especially in roles involving cross-functional problem solving, operating model design, or complex program delivery. - Experience building or scaling reporting mechanisms, operating cadences, backlog management, or workflow systems across global teams. - Familiarity with Salesforce-based operational processes and the realities of customer delivery, go-live readiness, and cross-functional dependencies. - Exposure to AI-assisted workflows, internal tools, or builder-style programs that turn field pain points into reusable solutions. Why this role matters Commercial demand is growing faster than Solutions headcount, and leadership has been explicit that the answer cannot be hiring alone. The team needs better prioritization, clearer operating mechanisms, stronger handoffs, more reliable metrics, and reusable builder assets that reduce repetitive work and improve customer outcomes at scale. This role is critical to making that shift happen.
