Position Overview:Zynga is looking for a Senior UX Designer to work on our new mobile game. This is a unique opportunity to be the primary architect of the player experience and collaborate directly with Project Leads to define, shape, and execute a groundbreaking XD vision from the ground up, allowing you to significantly influence the design direction. You are not just a service provider; you are a proactive leader with a keen eye for detail and a sophisticated design sense. You bridge the gap between complex game systems and intuitive, aesthetically delightful player journeys, ensuring our game is as accessible as it is visually engaging. What You’ll Do: - UX Strategy & Logic: Define complex user flows, information architecture, and interaction models that prioritize player engagement and minimize cognitive load. - Rapid Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to test and validate features, mechanics, and "fun" before they move into full production. - Player-Centric Validation: Plan user testing, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to proactively iterate on design logic. - Proactive Problem Definition: You don’t wait for a ticket. You proactively audit the game to identify friction points and high-value opportunities. You will rigorously define these challenges and drive solutions that balance player delight, business goals, and technical constraints. - Architect the Figma Ecosystem: Own the creation and evolution of our Design System. You will build and maintain a scalable library of components using advanced Figma features to ensure studio-wide efficiency and visual consistency. - End-to-End Feature Ownership: Take full accountability for the UX quality of assigned feature pods. You will lead the design process from initial discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and post-launch iteration. - Strategic Leadership: Champion UX excellence across the studio. You will participate in product reviews, lead critiques, and mentor junior UI/UX staff to level up the team's collective craft What You Bring: - Experience: 4+ years in game development specializing in UX. You have a deep understanding that game UX is about "juice" and engagement, not just task completion. - User Psychology: A deep understanding of mental models, player motivations, and the "why" behind player behavior. - Communication & Influence: The ability to articulate complex design logic to stakeholders and build consensus among potentially opposing perspectives. - Figma Mastery: You are a "Design System Master" proficient in advanced Figma features (Variables/Tokens, Auto Layout, Component Properties). - Keen Eye & Design Sense: You possess an exceptional aesthetic sensibility. You are highly detail-oriented, ensuring every transition, layout, and interaction meets a world-class standard of quality - High Autonomy: A proactive self-starter who thrives in ambiguity. You can prioritize your own tasks and work efficiently with minimal oversight. - True Gamer’s Passion: You have a deep, personal passion for games and a sophisticated understanding of player motivations. You are an active player who can deconstruct game mechanics and translate them into intuitive UX flows. - Digital Hygiene: A commitment to organized files, clear naming conventions, and proactive documentation. Bonus Points: - Technical Familiarity: Experience working within Unity (UGUI) to assist with asset handoff or UI polish. Familiarity with implementation logic such as tweens, UI animations, and prefabs is a huge plus - Artistic Versatility: Skilled in UI Art creation, including the ability to design high-quality icons, buttons, and decorative elements that align with the game's visual style - Motion Design: Ability to author functional UI animations to demonstrate interaction "feel." Role Description Loom Design is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Product Designer to help us create the most human way to communicate at work with teammates of all types (agents and humans). Loom defined async video, but AI is reshaping information flow. The next era moves beyond text boxes and chat windows to high-bandwidth, multimodal communication (video, screen, voice) that compresses rich context into minutes. The video interaction model between humans and agents is yet to be designed. We're building it. Riding the wave of change with AI, the Loom Design team tackles problems without existing patterns—how humans instruct AI via voice and screen, how agents respond visually, and how async video becomes consumable in seconds rather than minutes. As Lead Product Designer, you’ll work across the product spectrum, guiding us through AI's evolving landscape while keeping Loom a beloved tool to reduce meeting time. You’ll also help define cross-product experiences with Jira and Confluence, making Loom essential to millions of users worldwide. We're seeking a craft and product experience focused designer who thrives in ambiguity, values user experience, and drives forward with empathy, clarity, and resilience. We want a Designer eager to ship. Loom designers contribute code, build technical prototypes, and use AI tools to shorten the gap between intent and implementation. If you can fix a visual issue in a PR, you will. You’ll report to the Design Manager of Core Product at Loom. This is a remote role. To help our teams work better together, you must be located between PST and EST. Responsibilities - Elevate design craft: Set a high bar for interaction, visual, and motion design. Champion design principles and ensure consistency across product surfaces. - Guide to mastery: Design flows that onboard users of Teamwork Collection (Jira, Confluence, and Loom) to the concept of async video and towards getting the most out of these products. - Prototype and ship innovation: Partner with Product and Design partners to rapidly explore, validate, and graduate breakthrough ideas—especially those leveraging AI for video creation. - Lead with user and business impact: Use research and data to identify friction points, reduce barriers to recording, and increase shareability and engagement. - Mentor and inspire: Grow the design team’s skills, foster a culture of experimentation, and scale learnings across teams. - Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with PM, Eng, UXR to deliver delightful, high-impact features. - Champion AI-first thinking: Help Loom stay ahead by integrating emerging AI technologies, building conviction for new approaches, and ensuring Loom’s offering is 10x better than competitors. Qualifications - You believe deeply in the power of video and its ability to transform communication at work. - You’re steeped in using AI as a tool to amplify your own craft instinct and taste. - You have a minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in Product Design. - You have led product design for complex, user-facing products ideally in video, AI, or productivity tools. You know how to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to teams. - You set and uphold a high bar for craft in interaction, visual, and motion design. You care deeply about the details and inspire others to do the same. - You have a track record of shipping innovative, user-centered solutions in fast-paced, cross-functional teams. You thrive on collaboration and know how to turn big ideas into real impact. - You prototype and validate new concepts, especially with emerging technologies. You’re comfortable experimenting, learning quickly, and iterating based on feedback. - You’re a strong communicator and collaborator, able to inspire teams and influence at all levels. You know how to bring people along on the journey and advocate for what’s best for users. - You stay curious, keep up with industry trends, and love sharing what you learn. Compensation At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. We follow consistent hiring practices and account for each candidate's skills, knowledge, and experience when setting base pay within the range. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity. Pay Ranges - Zone A: $189,000 - $246,750 - Zone B: $170,100 - $222,075 - Zone C: $157,500 - $205,625 Benefits - Atlassian offers a wide range of perks and benefits designed to support you, your family and to help you engage with your local community. - Our offerings include health and wellbeing resources, paid volunteer days, and so much more.
