About the Role We are seeking a Territory Manager who will own and grow the Athletic business within their assigned market. This role is highly field based and execution focused. You will spend the majority of your time in trade, visiting accounts, working alongside buyers and distributor reps, selling in new placements, building innovative displays, executing samplings, and ensuring the quality of our brand standards show up consistently at retail. Our Territory Managers are the face of Athletic in the market and in the community. This role is hands-on, in trade, and deeply connected to our distributor and retail partners. Success requires integrity, discipline, strong organization, and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities across grocery, convenience, drug, on premise, and non-traditional accounts. Responsible Region: Focus on Central/West Florida. (***must be based within commutable distance of Tampa, St. Petersburg, or Orlando) Job Responsibilities: - Represent Athletic Brewing's values and mission in the territory. - Maintain and cultivate relationships in territory – distributors, key retail buyers, and other brand partners - including sales launch presentations, work withs, and events/samplings at key accounts. - Actively drive personal vehicle throughout the market to visit accounts 5 days per week to obtain and increase business and sell in/execute displays within designated territory. - Minimum 36 hours in trade time (at accounts or events) per week. - Periodic overnight travel to/from Fresno and Inyo counties required. - Minimum 450 VIP KARMA Survey logged Account Interactions at Retail (e.g. grocery stores, convenience, drug, bars, restaurants, etc) every 90 days. - Executes visits at priority account list from Manager. - Logs surveys in VIP KARMA while onsite at the account with photos for every visit. - Conducts six sampling events every 90 days. - Completes Standard Survey and Commitment Tracker for all Surveyed Accounts while at the account. - Recaps visits weekly to distributors with actions to add items or displays. - Perform samplings, activations, and attend events. - Drive sales volume and distribution in the territory by identifying new opportunities, actively selling, and motivating distributor sales teams to prioritize Athletic in their portfolio. - Visits new and existing retail opportunities on a regular basis - both traditional and non-traditional, on-and-off premise. - Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Job Details & Compensation: - Location: Must reside within reasonably commutable distance from Tampa, St. Petersburg, or Orlando. - Driving is an essential function of the role.
