Job Description The Good Hands Repair Network - Auto Damage Consultant independently manages complex repair issues, evaluates the quality and accuracy of claim handling and estimating work completed by the claim’s organization within GHRN. Under limited supervision, this role exercises increased judgment, autonomy, and responsibility while supporting customer experience, repair quality, and operational efficiency. This position remains primarily in the “Do” phase, with emerging behaviors aligned to the “Teach” phase. This role manages repair quality with greater complexity, serving as a liaison between shops, customers, and internal partners. The Damage Consultant identifies trends, resolves escalated issues, and contributes insights to leadership while ensuring repairs meet quality and service expectations. Key Responsibilities / Preferred Qualifications - Have auto technical repair knowledge in a collision repair setting, including an understanding of repair methodology, repair processes, and the ability to discern related and unrelated damages. - Completes virtual reviews of vendor repair estimates and other assigned claims to ensure adherence to estimating best practices and process and documentation compliance. - Monitors network utilization and identifies potential need for expanded or new networks. - Develops, manages, and audits relationships with network vendors. - Collaborates with leadership regarding inspection or file review results. - Serve as a liaison between the GRHN shops, customers, and adjusters, negotiating appropriate actions to resolve customer issues and/or repair needs; assists with shop questions and helps determine appropriate actions to resolve moderately complex coverage and repair quality issues. - Focuses on market driven trends including but not limited to Cycle Time, Customer Service, Reinspection results, and Pending GHRN claims. Experience - 5+ years of experience (Preferred) using an auto estimating program such as: CCC One and a strong damage analysis background. Work Location: This position is a remote home-based role. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This Position is not available for Washington, California, Alaska, and Hawaii residents. When you work from home full time, you’ll need: - A dedicated workspace in your residence that is private and free from distractions. - A minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download speed and 5 MB upload speed. - Appropriate work surface and seating “Please note, you may be required to attend 2-week of in person training.” What Allstate will provide: - A technology bundle that includes all equipment needed to perform your work from home (laptop, monitor, headset, keyboard, and mouse.) - Connectivity reimbursement of $80 per month to offset some of the cost of internet. Notice of Licensing Requirement: As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor. If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire. If required, the Hiring Manager will work with you along with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are properly licensed. As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team.
