Principal Data Engineer – MarTech

• Own the technical architecture of our enterprise Customer Data Platform. Design the data models, event schemas, and identity resolution rules required to build a unified customer profile that powers real-time personalization and orchestration. • Architect and build scalable data pipelines connecting various internal databases, product telemetry, and third-party SaaS applications into the MarTech stack. Extensively utilize APIs, webhooks, and SDKs to ingest and route data securely. • Establish rigorous data tracing and monitoring protocols. Troubleshoot complex data discrepancies end-to-end to ensure high data integrity, reliability, and accuracy. • Take on technical responsibility of data privacy operations. Integrate various data sources with our Data Privacy Management/Consent platforms to automate PII deletion and Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) workflows. • Act as the bridge between Marketing, Business Systems, Data Engineering, and Legal/Privacy teams. Translate complex, high-level business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering and integration engineering
- Deep architectural and hands-on experience implementing and managing enterprise Customer Data Platforms and Tag Management Systems
- Strong backend integration skills with extensive experience consuming and building REST/RESTful APIs, webhooks, and managing batch and real-time data streaming architectures.
- Proven ability to map and trace complex data lineage across highly distributed systems, and ability to analyze dependencies.
- Solid understanding of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and the technical mechanisms required to enforce them across a decentralized software stack.
- Strong proficiency in languages relevant to data processing and web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/Node.js, Python, SQL).

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Platform Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in setting up and managing Cloud Data Platform infrastructure for Azure Cloud Data Stacks and Snowflake.
