The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the life insurance industry, strong technical acumen, and excellent communication skills. As a Solutions Engineer at Bestow, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our software products and the unique needs of our life insurance carrier customers, accelerating our discovery process, and enabling our sales and product teams. The location is remote; however, we have office locations for use in Dallas. WHAT YOU'LL DO Needs and Requirements Gathering: WHO YOU ARE 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or other similar role in B2B enterprise software Success working with large enterprise B2B clients, particularly in financial services or other complex and/or heavily regulated industries Deep knowledge of the life insurance industry, including key processes, regulatory requirements, market trends, and existing systems Strong technical skills, with experience in high-level software design & architecture (both front-end and back-end) and systems integration. Job Requirements

  • Engage with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business processes, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments through meetings, interviews, and workshops with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our Product Managers to document and translate client requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Client Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the revenue team to understand client requirements and present tailored software solutions that meet their needs.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical insights and recommendations to address their challenges.
  • As needed, provide training and support to clients, ensuring they are equipped to maximize the benefits of our software solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Support the discovery process with internal teams, ensuring that the right stakeholders are brought in to complete requirements-gathering
  • Prepare detailed documentation throughout the sales and discovery process to accelerate Bestow delivery teams.’
  • Collaborate closely with product management to document requirements and generate potential solutions

  • Maintain up-to-date plans to complete discovery and requirements gathering for each assigned opportunity.
