Job Description

Telecommunications Computer Network Support

AttainX, Inc.

• Provide advanced technical support for telecommunications and network operations supporting Priority Services program activities • Monitor network performance, telecommunications service availability, and operational metrics to identify trends and potential service issues • Analyze network and telecommunications performance data and provide recommendations to improve service reliability, resiliency, and operational effectiveness • Support telecommunications carrier integration, coordination, and operational support activities • Troubleshoot network and telecommunications issues and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action efforts • Support testing, validation, and operational readiness activities for telecommunications services, network infrastructure, and carrier-supported solutions • Assist with network upgrades, service enhancements, technology refresh initiatives, and modernization efforts • Support implementation and maintenance of network monitoring, reporting, and performance management capabilities • Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and operational reports • Support incident management, outage investigations, and service restoration activities as required • Participate in technical reviews, engineering discussions, working groups, and program meetings • Coordinate activities with Government stakeholders, telecommunications carriers, service providers, vendors, and technical teams • Support compliance with security, operational, and contractual requirements • Provide technical recommendations and subject matter expertise supporting program objectives and customer requirements • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience supporting telecommunications, carrier networks, telecommunications infrastructure, network operations, or enterprise networking environments
  • Experience supporting telecommunications carriers, service providers, wireless networks, wireline networks, or carrier-grade telecommunications infrastructure required
  • Experience supporting Federal Government, homeland security, defense, public safety, emergency communications, or critical infrastructure programs preferred
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, wireless networking, telecommunications protocols, and network architecture principles
  • Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, performance analysis, incident management, and operational support activities
  • Familiarity with telecommunications technologies including VoIP, VoLTE, LTE, 5G, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and carrier transport networks preferred
  • Experience supporting telecommunications testing, validation, service activation, network integration, or operational readiness activities
  • Knowledge of network management tools, monitoring platforms, and performance reporting systems
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security best practices, and Zero Trust concepts preferred
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with Government personnel, telecommunications carriers, vendors, and technical teams
  • Must have an active/current Secret Security Clearance
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent are preferred.
