• Design and deploy scalable and efficient network solutions to meet business needs. • Configure and install network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. • Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and team members. • Investigate and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues. • Monitor network performance using various diagnostic tools and address any issues promptly. • Lead and manage IT projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies. • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and innovation. • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree or bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, preferred; or equivalent training and/or experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a management-level IT position within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise network architecture including WAN/LAN, data center, cloud networking, SD-WAN, and core infrastructure technologies.
- Knowledge of network security principles including segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, secure connectivity, and disaster recovery/business continuity practices.
- Ability to design, implement, and optimize complex network environments with focus on performance, scalability, QoS, and capacity planning.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex network issues, interpret performance data, and implement root-cause solutions.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, collaborate across IT/business teams, and effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
