Role Description We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Copywriter with digital marketing experience to become the voice of our brand across every consumer touchpoint. This role serves as a core engine for creative ideation and content development, producing compelling copy that drives engagement, builds brand awareness, and generates conversions across digital, social, marketing communications, and out-of-home channels. The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, brand voice development, and multi-channel marketing strategies. You can effortlessly shift from writing high-converting paid advertising copy and viral short-form video hooks to polished sales collateral and real-time social engagement. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and collaborate effectively with designers, video editors, marketers, and cross-functional stakeholders. This is a remote position requiring candidates to reside in the United States and be authorized to work without visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C. Key Responsibilities - Concept, pitch, and write high-converting copy for paid social campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging digital channels. - Develop compelling digital advertising copy for Responsive Display Ads, Google Ads, native advertising networks, and other performance marketing initiatives. - Create messaging that drives engagement, lead generation, brand awareness, and customer acquisition while maintaining brand consistency. - Script, storyboard, and ideate concepts for short-form video content across YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms. - Develop high-retention hooks, compelling narratives, and strong calls-to-action designed to maximize audience engagement and conversion. - Collaborate closely with video editors and creative teams to bring concepts to life. - Write and edit high-impact marketing and sales assets including flyers, brochures, signage, pitch decks, presentations, newsletters, landing pages, and promotional materials. - Ensure consistent brand messaging and voice across all customer-facing communications. - Support broader marketing initiatives through strategic content development and campaign messaging. - Brainstorm and develop concise, attention-grabbing copy for billboards, transit advertising, experiential marketing, and physical brand activations. - Create memorable messaging that effectively communicates value propositions in limited-space environments. - Monitor social channels to identify opportunities for audience engagement and community management. - Craft witty, relevant, and on-brand responses to customer interactions and trending conversations. - Participate in real-time marketing opportunities that increase brand visibility and audience engagement. - Partner closely with designers, video editors, growth marketers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated marketing campaigns. - Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and campaign planning. - Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining creative quality and strategic alignment. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in copywriting, creative advertising, marketing communications, or a related field. - Agency experience or experience in a fast-paced, high-growth in-house marketing environment preferred. - Demonstrated experience collaborating with visual designers, video production teams, and marketing stakeholders. - A diverse portfolio showcasing: - High-converting paid advertising campaigns, - Short-form social media concepts (including video hooks and scripts), - Marketing communications and sales collateral, - Multi-channel copywriting across digital, social, and traditional mediums. - Advanced copywriting and creative advertising skills across multiple channels and formats. - Strong understanding of brand voice development and audience-specific messaging. - Proficiency in writing for paid media, social media, digital marketing, and marketing communications. - Experience with video scripting and storyboarding for short-form content. - Ability to adapt tone and style seamlessly, from internet-native social content to professional, value-driven sales messaging. - Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional creative teams. - Ability to receive constructive feedback and rapidly iterate on creative concepts. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. - Knowledge of consumer engagement strategies across digital, social, and out-of-home marketing channels. Preferred Qualifications - Experience writing for consumer-facing brands with a strong digital presence. - Familiarity with social media trends, internet culture, and emerging content formats. - Understanding of performance marketing principles and conversion-focused messaging. - Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Compensation Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long-term consulting engagement with an expected annual salary range of $95,000-$105,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
